The foamy coating wore off quickly
I've had 4-5 sets of various Magid cut resistant gloves and the coating on these wore off the fastest. I am a hobbyist tree climber using typical arborist gear and the coating showed signs of wear after one day and was worn through after only another day or two of climbing. They're still cut resistant and good for other tasks, but they aren't grippy when ascending the rope anymore.

3-way comparison for cut resistant gloves
Update (04/2020): downgrading from 5 to 3 stars; I accidentally ran my pruning saw across the back of my index finger, and the saw tore right through. For perspective, per the ANSI standard, A7 (A9 is the highest), should not be cut by a 4000g (4kg = 8.8lb) blade moving 20mm across the test surface.Summary: Doing tree clearing, and need heavy duty, cut resistant gloves, with extra grip in the palms (working in wet conditions).Discussion: I will be comparing three different gloves from Amazon in this review. Another set, purchased locally, is also included. The first and oldest set is the G&F 22600, which I purchased July 2017 (over 2 years). They have worked very well, and only recently (last month) has the coated palms started to delaminate significantly. In looking for replacements, I came across the two Magid offerings that I purchased. I also found that ANSI revised their cut rating from level 1-5, to A1-A9. I decided to purchase two Magid offerings, the first was the A5 pair, which I ordered in size Medium (that is my normal size). Upon receipt, they fit a little too snugly, so when I bought the A7, I went up to LARGE (which I sometimes wear in other gloves). I'll list out individual likes/dislikes below:Pros (G&F 22600): Heavy duty; good grip; cuffs have good closure; lasted 2 years.Cons (G&F 22600): little more bulky, less dexterity. I typically wear MEDIUM, but ordered XL, and they fit correctly.Pros (Magid A7): Heavy duty; good grip; cuffs have good closureCons (Magid A7): Little less dexterity than the A5 (expected).Pros (Magid A5): Good grip; best dexterity of all three (easy to manipulate small nuts & bolts).Cons (Magid A5): Less cut protection than the others (expected). Conclusion: All three are good gloves, provide excellent cut protection, and the amount of dexterity is largely proportional to the amount of rubber grip in the palm ares. So just like anything else, you have to match your glove to the task at hand.Related products:1) G & F 22600 XL Cut Resistant With Anti-Slip Silicone Blocks, Protective Gloves Scrapes, in Kitchen, Wood Carving Carpentry Food Grade 1 Pair, X-Large - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FX81762) Magid D-ROC GPD824 Ultra-Lightweight Polyurethane Palm Coated Work Gloves - Cut Level A5 (1 Pair) - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TWBZQXQ3) Magid D-ROC Lightweight Hyperon NitriX Grip Technology Palm Coated Work Gloves – Cut Level A7 (1 Pair) - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TYJW7ZX4 & 5) the blue dot gloves, and the bright green were purchased locally (not from Amazon), therefore, not reviewing them here (just shown for wear comparison).

I tried to cut it but could not
I took the sharpest knife I had and pressed down against a hard surface to cut this and it would not cut through. The grippy rubber did cut but did not go through the protection layer. The glove absolutely does it's job and makes me feel very secure when I am cutting. The glove is also quite flexible and does not interfere with hand dexterity.

Thick
A7’s are thick, not much dexterity to do fine motor work. Working with bulky items should be fine.Size fits well but the thickness of the A7… making a closed fist is challenging. Not sure if ordering next size up would allow more room for articulation

The fingers are too short I cant use these.
The gloves fit my hand sort of, my hands measure to be 9.5 was told to round down to the whole number to get my size. The gloves fit onto my hands however the fingers are too short to be functional on my hands. I cant wear these to work.

Muy seguros
Son los mejores guantes que he comprado. Dan muy buen soporte y seguridad a tus manos y, contrario a lo que yo esperaba, no limitan el movimiento de tus manos y dedos. Los recomiendo ampliamente.
