A book every young child should have read to them
When I was growing up, this old nursery rhyme bothered me:"What are little boys made of? Frogs and snails, And puppy-dogs' tails; That's what little boys are made of. What are little girls made of? Sugar and spice, And all that's nice; That's what little girls are made of." There's this old-fashioned idea which - whilst rejected by some adults, is still present in the messages we tell children - that boys can be gross and girls should be pretty. It pains me to think that any child, of any gender, would feel uncomfortable because of a bodily function. This book is both fantastic fun, with zingy artwork and a great sense of humour, and carries an important message of equality, being comfortable in your own skin and being kind to one another.I adore this book and will be buying it as a present for family members for years to come.

Brilliant book!
I bought this book for my 5 year old daughter, who absolutely loves it. She has been sharing the story with all of her friends and family and it has gone down well with everyone!Beautiful illustrations and funny rhymes, with a great "be yourself" message behind it. Love this book and very happy to have bought it.

Not great
Poor quality. The print of the text was not a bold black, it was like the printer was running out of ink, not great if you are having little ones try and read it. The illustrations are lovely and the whole concept of the book, it’s just let down with the quality of the paper and printed text.

Fun book kids loved it!
I bought this as a present for my friend's two daughters. I enjoyed reading it to them. The illustrations were lovely and a lot of laughter occurred (especially with my sound effects!) The book is colourful and fun, would definitely recommend it!

Little ones new favourite book
Bought this for my 2 1/2 year old niece as a present. After reading it once she had me read it multiple times and add fart noises. This book is now her favourite book (calling it my fart book) even having her mum and dad read it multiple times also. She even let out a fart whilst standing on one leg and said she was like her book.Highly recommend this book and will be buying another copy to send to cousins little girls in Ireland. Brilliantly written and the illustrations are wonderful.
