I bought these for supporting my tomato plants since cages are usually too small and trash. I put these in the ground ad hoc as the plants get bigger and bigger. I use a natural fiber twine to support the branches and it seems to grip onto these poles perfectly well with a simple clove hitch knot. I haven't tried using a synthetic twine so I don't know how well that will grip. The poles are sturdy enough that I can push about a foot of them into the ground and they didn't feel like I was going to break them. After the growing season was over I didn't pull them out of the ground. I let them stay out all winter and in early spring I pulled them out of the ground. The tips are still intact, none of them got bent, and the coating seems fine. I'll be reusing them again this year.

Garden stakes are not exciting, but I use a lot of them when I lay out herb gardens. Having the stakes around helps me keep track of small plants for feeding and pruning and cuts down on the chance of stepping back onto a fresh plant when working in the center of a complex bed. These stakes are sturdy and well constructed. They look like they will last for many seasons. The pricing decent.

I use these to prop up flowering perennials that would otherwise be floppy. They blend right into the garden and are barely visible. They are also quite sturdy, though I did bend one unintentionally.

A picture is worth a thousand words. So far these stakes, though shorter than the traditional box store garden stakes, appears to be studier and of better quality. (Light green = this vendor. Dark green = box store) Don't get me wrong.... the length makes them perfect for building trellises that can be customized to fit your needs. I assembled the pictured trellis within minutes, by using a rubber mallet, and the supplied clips. There was no sign of the stakes bending or warping. Therefore, so far so good. I'm a happy customer.As you can see, my tomatoes 🍅 are just getting large enough to approach the 1st support level. This is my 1st season using these, so I will be happy provide an update about the durability, after more usage.In short, if you're on the fence... just buy them! Chances are, you'll be happy you did. I definitely plan to order more. 😊
