The product is functional but unreliable with poor software/firmware. Settings and features are limited for techies (like myself) so I was unable to resolve issues as well.My Samsung TV was previously connected to my WiFi and worked fine but after putting this mesh in, every time I turned it on, I had to manually reconnect the TV to wifi. A Mi camera system I have could not be connected to this WiFi and on contacting support, was told to manually setup the connection (techie stuff) which was not possible with this camera system. I actually removed this and went back to my old WiFi setup where these issues immediately got resolved.

I have recently moved to a big Villa and i was having problem with wifi signals and when i added more wifi routers to extend my wifi range i had problem with settings i have to change password for each and every router every time. If i need to make any changing i have to do that individually in every router. I also used Wifi extender but wifi extender also have limitation. I Wanted some thing centralized so that i can make setting at one place and it changes every where and i need good signal in each corner of my villa. As its smart appliances time as we have many smart devices at our home so we need some power full router to control as many as possible wifi devices. Worked well initially but one of the extender broke down in few months. No repairs/replacement provided unless courier it to China on own expenses.

We have a 3 floor villa and used to have multiple routers and array of wires to connect them all.Though we can use wifi connection on routers, there is too much loss on speed.This mesh is a good solution to have a centralized control on the connections and maintain internet speed.There is also no need to change connection when you transfer rooms or floors which was always an unnecessary hassle with multiple router setup.They look cute as well and can be easily fit into your house decor.

Defective Power transformers.Secondly, it can not merge with each other once you place them more than a metre apart, so can not provide the services of range extenders.

Non-existent customer support no information about firmware updates. Router does not negotiate more than 100 mbps

You cannot buy one additional mesh.The signal strength decreases extremely on the upper or ground floor.You cannot extend your wifi with other extenders or routers.Online support is not enough.No QoS features

I don't totally regret the purpose but if I new then what I experienced I would have passed it by. 1) the app they recommend did not work at all, it found it but said it did not support cloud control and local connection was refused. After multiple attempts with the app I manually set it up. 2) no easy set up guide to be found in the box, only to install the app and use it ti set the the router. Setting up multiple other routers really helped.3) very inconsistent speed. When Y tube cannot consistently play without multiple drop outs on a high speed cable modem something is differently wrong. Speed test shows that it ranges from below 0.7 Mb to over 40 Mb. It does seem to have the most problems with my chrome book and do have issues at times with my streaming courses.

right out of the box, 2 of the 3 wifi mesh systems by wavlink power on and work just fine, however the third unit didnt have the plastic on the top touch sensor and when i went to plug it in with the included AC adapter it doesnt power on. Ive tried a couple of times, made sure the power switch was on (obviously) its just dead on arrival, which is really saddening because it doesnt allow me to test the 3 piece range.

The setup is a bit complicated (for me at least) so do yourself a favor and just watch some youtube videos making it a cinch. My speeds aren't the fastest from my main line, but it seems to extend the most of what I am already getting to the furthest corner of my property. My main problem with my single router setup (I believe) was that my walls are made of some sort of magical wifi blocking material so I could never get service past my living room. My home has a courtyard and is like a big square with rooms on the outside so it was a PITB to get good service at the edges of the property with the router installed in the middle. My only minor gripe so far is that the settings on the extenders sometimes seem to need a reset if the power goes out. It maybe user error, but i'm working on it.8/10 I would recommend it.
