Super easy to learn, fun for all ages. We played with people from age 24 to 84!!!

Got this game and it is quite funny and a faster game to play with a small group of people. The clues of the words to guess are good, and most teenagers and adults would be able to guess without much problem, assuming the person giving clues knows what they are talking about! The age on this says 8 years old and up, but it can definitely be a little more difficult for that age bracket, depending on their vocabulary and skill set in knowing alternative names for things and spelling! We tried to play with a newly 7 year old, and he couldn’t do it without assistance throughout the whole game. But the 12 and 13 year olds were good, and they knew most if not all the words throughout the game. So just keep that in mind. But overall fun to play throughout the holiday season and something different and entertaining!

We love word games, and Jabber Jaw is fun to play and is an entertaining way to think about words. There are 300 cards with 4 phrases each. To play, you describe the phrase without using the words on the card. So for example, for the phrase "The groceries are gone," you might say "The food is no more." Then the person on your team is to guess what the original phrase is supposed to be.This works best for 4 or more players - good for a family fun night, or game night with friends (when we are allowed to have people over again).The board is sturdy but it didn't quite lay flat. I think over time it will loosen up. The cards are sturdy. The plastic game pieces are a little light - they are hollow, although they'll do fine. There's also a timer included.Overall, this is a fun game that gets everyone involved. It's funny to see what words people substitute and what they guess as the original phrase. Recommend!

This game was so fun! It was easy to pick up and the instructions were easy to read and understand. We got it as a gift and we will definitely be playing it more in the future.

Fun game for family get togethers. Very easy to play, good for all ages as you can work in teams. Quick to play. Loved it.

Its a quite good and fun game to play with your friends. Basically, it is a slightly different shade game with its own twist. It contains a board, sand timer, the cards from which you describe, and a 6 different counters to represent a team. Overall quality is not bad for the whole game, but the card quality could be a bit better, should be a bit thicker. It is a perfect game after dinner with friends to make the evening more entertaining and fun. Plus its extremely easy and anyone can learn rules like in one minute. We tried out this game on our dinner and it was a great success, everyone enjoyed and had a good laugh of people guessing.

We took this game out of its box on Christmas Day and had such a fun time playing it. The aim of the game is to be the first team to finish the board by guessing phrases that one of the members of your team has to describe. It sounds really easy when you read the instructions but trying to guess the phrases is a whole other matter. It is very difficult for the describer to act out the phrases as they are not your usual charade type of words. Suffice to say that much hilarity ensued and none of us actually finished the board as it was just to funny trying to guess the elusive phrases!The box contains everything you need to get started immediately - the game board, timer, player pieces and the all important cards with the phrases in them. I would highly recommend this game for a fun night in.

Once we understood the rules we were off to a great evening, laughing and frustrations at our partner's descriptions.an example "A Policeman was Polite" the two words beginning with "P" cannot be said, simply change these for alternative words like "A Officer was Rude" my partner then deceivers another word for Officer = Policeman and the opposite of Rude = Polite. you can mime or alternate words or try and describe this word, but be warned you may get frustrated with your partner's descriptive abilities but you'll have great fun watching others squirm under the pressure of the sand timer. Overall a very simple enjoyable game to play with others! The cards and the board are good quality and should last you a lifetime.

This is a really fun spin on a classic word game which is sure to create hours of entertainment for you and your guests, or even just your family. It's easy to pick up, doesn't take a long time to play, and unlike many of today's popular games it's genuinely family friendly (though an adult version would be a lot of fun!).The set is well made and comes with an actual game board and pieces despite being in a small box which is nice and easy to store. It would make a good gift for anyone that enjoys party games.
