Great fans, but the concerns about screws stripping are true
I consider myself smarter and more careful than the average negative Amazon reviewer. Normally bad reviews are a product of user error or absurd expectations rather than anything wrong with the product. In the case of these Fractal fans, unfortunately, all the concerns on here about the screws being easy to strip are totally accurate.I installed these fans specifically keeping in mind those comments, and exercised great caution in how I applied pressure to the screws while installing. Doing so, I managed to only slightly strip one screw out of eight total screws on my two new 140 mm fans....only to realize I had installed them backwards on the front of my case. First time PC building fun!The second go around was horrible. I barely managed to get them off and back on without stripping every screw. It's like they were made out of molding clay or something. The fans work great and look awesome inside my Fractal case but goodness, please spend the extra 25 cents on quality screws Fractal, this is ridiculous!

Easy to install
I needed a second front intake fan. This reduced my CPU temps by nearly 10 degrees Celsius. For those that complain about stripping the screws: Use a #2 Phillips. It fits perfectly and won't strip the screw. Since the screws are self-tapping, I suggest first tapping the screws to make the thread before mounting the fan itself then remove the screws, mount the fan where you like and secure it easily with the screws.

Not a fan problem, but an accessory issue
Gave it 3 stars because the project never got off the ground. The fan screws packaged with this fan were really cheap. They were so easy to strip using a regular screw driver that I just decided to give up and send it back.Honestly if you're paying more than $10 for a fan you would expect the screws to be the last thing holding you back from the thing staying in your case.

Quality, quiet; need screws?
Very quiet, and almost identical to the fans which came with my case. Recommended.Attaching these to the front panel of a Fractal Design Define R5 case, I found myself missing the necessary screws. My situation is a bit unusual, needing 'long' screws for this mounting. The fans came with the more common short screws.Fractal Design advises these long case fan screws are #6-32 x 30mm; black oxide, flat head Phillips screws. They are almost impossible to find, but other head types are more available and work fine.Noise-absorbing silicone "screws" (which look like long nipples) are also available. These are attached from the rear of the mounting holes, with the fan slipping onto them from the front. I find the fans inaudible using the steel screws, but the silicone "screws" may be a more available option, if you need a long case screw.

Stable & silent under 1,300 RPM's
I'm so disappointed in these fans. I wanted a push - pull effect on my CPU heatsink, and it worked great but once these fans were over 1,300 RPM's...kiss the silence good bye. It literally was grinding and howling pass 1,300 RPM's. Hell I even cranked it to 2,000 RPM's and it sounded like a jet losing it's parts on the run way. I have 8 Fractal Design Silent 140mm fans in my case that make less noise running at max speeds (8,000 RPM's total) then one of these 120mm Dynamic fans running at 1,300 RPM's. I'm going to return these and go with Noctua. They haven't let me down yet!

Good fan marred by installation points and screws
The fan itself is decent. I’d rate it along Scythe Kaze Flex in appearance and quality of buildHowever, I ignored the reviews talking about the screws and installation. There’s a reason so many reviews mention this…Here’s the root cause1. Screws are soft and this strip easily because…2. The screw holes aren’t threaded enough and are too small3 of 4 stripped and I managed to brute force them in after changing through *3* different screwdrivers increasing in head size just to get it in. There’s maybe a 50% chance the fam can ever be removed without destroying it or the case or using some stripped screw bit and drill.I’d say you can maybe install these and move it once without damaging the fan and/having to buy new screws.Ideally you use silicone noctua tool less fan mounts on these.

Fractal is my favorite pro quality fan
I've tried all the top name brand "pro" fans over the last 20 years, and for me, Fractals are the most reliable and most reasonably priced for a quality product that I've used. To be fair, other brands could be better now after having issues in the past but I just hadn't gone back to them to find out. For me, Fractal has been consistent for all the years I've used them. They are quiet, very well built, and push a lot of air. I hadn't had one fail yet (or get noisy). Outside of only 1 other brand I use for a specific size and/or use case ("Noiseblocker NB" fans in rackmount servers), I pretty much only use Fractals in my desktop/workstation builds now.

Works great, no problem stripping screws
I bought a Fractal Design Define R5 case that came with several of these fans, and I wanted more fans for more airflow. In order to earn some style points, I wanted them to match. I read the reviews here about stripping screws, so I figured I would be extra careful. I have tons of extra fan screws anyway.Honestly, the most difficult problem was getting each one out of the package - and the box is just thin cardboard. I installed three of them and had no problems with any of the screws. Maybe they fixed the problem? Maybe this caveman can use a screwdriver correctly? We may never know.

Bought these to match the pre-installed fans of the Define C Mini TG case.
Works well, low noise, and matches the pre-installed fans from Fractal Design. These guys know what they're doing and their fans are high-quality and solidly built.

Really good fan
I added this fan to the actual ones that came with my Fractal Design Meshify C case. These fans are quiet and move a lot of air. Some people complained about the screws that are easily stripped, but I didn't have that problem. Just take your time while screwing.Overall, great product! I highly recommend it.

Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert.
