Wonderful lens on a budget... The quality and performance are excellent.

Pros:1. Small. Well constructed. Metal. Looks all business.2. Capable of sharp pictures when correctly focused.3. For the price, difficult to beat. Best reason to get it.Cons:1. The focus ring is thin and anything but smooth. Has lots of resistance. Small ridges on ring for gripping but they are small in area.However, The company does provide a plastic gripper that can be attached to it for easier access and movement.2 The aperture ring is similar. Since both are thin, moving one will cause movement of the other depending on the size of the your fingers/thumb.3. Getting the correct focus is tricky. Especially for older eyes.2. I found the pictures I took in these lens sharp and it's definitely a good tool to start with for beginners like me who loves to take photos. Great for portraits and landscape shots. The colors are rich and lively. Using an M50 here btw.Just for everyone who plans to purchase, this is a manual lens and no Image stabilization.

The fit and finish is very good. On my Canon M5, it looks like it is a fixed lens camera. I have only been able to get out on a rainy day for a few shots yet, but I am very happy with the results. Lightweight, compact, and a superb value!
