The sowing of them was easy and they had about an 80% germination rate (many purchased seeds had far less). This is my first time trying the Red Okra, and looking forward to the plants producing (so are my neighbors). Doing great so far... will update as time goes by...

I planted two 30 foot rows. The plants are over 10 foot tall. I pick okra every two days and get a bucket full each time. The flavor is outstanding and the pods are tender even when they are long.

I really like the red plants

The seed pack was shredded and look like it had been chewed by an animal. All of the seeds were loose in the Amazon shipping package. About 75% of the seeds were present (25% missing - I counted). Normally, okra seeds sprout readily and grow quickly. Less than 10% of the seeds that were planted are growing. I wanted to try the red okra because I hadn't seen this before, but I've never had okra seeds not sprout. Okra is one of the easiest vegetables to grow. So I'm very disappointed with this purchase.

Germination rate was high, plants transplanted well. Will make a fantastic addition to my 3 acres of green okra. Cant wait to see the pods.
