I needed a fan for my office and the one I have had for the last 5 years was starting to get noisy. I bought this based on other reviews saying its quite. Very surprised, its very quite and a bonus of being 2 speeds it certainly moves air fast for its size. Very impressed!!!

Worth the money

This is the 3rd OPOLAR mini fan I've purchased in the last 3 years. I travel frequently and like to have air circulation that I can feel once I hit the bed. So I put this on the nightstand. The previous two models I had were the metal 4". That was adequate, but not a particularly strong breeze. This one is all plastic, has a large cover on the front that diffuses the breeze and has two speeds. Significantly more breeze that the previous models. I pack this where ever I travel and works great. Would definitely recommend. Some of the reviews are not very complimentary re the power/wind it creates but it's perfect for me. Also put things in perspective. It's a 4" fan, not 4 feet!

Great little fan. Decent length cord and built pretty well.The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the fact there is only 2 speeds. High and Hurricane.It would be nice if there was a lower setting as the "low" setting will blow papers off your desk, and "high" will blow pens, pencils, and paperclips around. Great if you want it a distance away, but if you want a little fan on your desk to move air over your keyboard or towards yourself, you may find it to be too much.I decided to set it behind my monitor, on low, and the airflow off the desk face, passed the cables, under the monitor is still enough to be a nice breeze over my keyboard and past your face.

I ordered this fan in January and was very pleased with the size and power. It is on for 8 hours a day. After 5 months of use the fan would turn on but blades would stall. I contacted seller and they replaced the fan without hesitation. I received the new fan 4 days after I contacted seller. I would recommend this product because of size and positive customer service.

I've been using this for four days and I'm absolutely impressed. For such a small unit, it sure moves quite a lot of air (on the high setting)... especially since it's so quiet! This fan takes up very little space, comes with three very sturdy rubber feet on the bottom of the stand, has two settings plus off, and has a very solid looking USB connection end. The cable is a bit thin and my guess is that could be the weakest point, but I don't plan to plug and unplug the unit a lot, nor to wrap the cable and unwrap it a lot, so that shouldn't be an issue for me. If you're running off a laptop, this does draw a fair bit of battery power, but plugged in, it's a dream. For the price, I can't believe the quality I ended up with. Since it's been only a short time, I can'tcomment on longevity, but I will update this review if the unit fails sooner than reasonable.

When I first took this out of the box I was pretty pissed off - it was way smaller than I expected. I fell for the "5.2 Inch Frame" bit, of course, but it's also smaller than the measurements pic indicate - they say it's 5.9" across the bottom but it's only 5.5"HOWEVER! HOT DOG IS THIS FAN GREAT. It's tiny and cute AF. On low it's basically silent (I can only hear the motor if I hold it 6" to the side of my head) and pushes enough air to keep me very comfortable. On high it pushes more air and is still very quiet - the air makes a small amount of sound travelling through the fan but I can't hear the motor at all.The all-plastic construction is nice; it doesn't rattle at all. Since the design looks mostly closed from most angles I think it'll look good in an office (it doesn't look janky at all, as opposed to some of the wire-frame fans). The feet are soft rubber so vibrations are absorbed seemingly completely.About the only thing I wish is that the cone of effect was wider (it's about head-sized at 2 feet), but this is good enough and I wouldn't want the fan to be any bigger.
