I don't even give this product 1 star.. So disappointed.Very small pieces of stones it doesn't even fit on the grill.Waste of money and time.

These rocks are super dangerous. They look great around our new gas fire place but when the fire place is on a while and the rocks get hot, they shoot out of the fire place. It just missed my daughter’s face. And they get HOT.

THIS PRODUCT CAN EXPOSE YOU TO LEAD AND CHROMIUM. Wtf I bought this to go inside my indoor fireplace. Sending back.

Unfortunately these stones are going back. There are two problems:1. The stones are NOT black, they are dirty brown with hints of black - almost rust colored in places. I cleaned a couple stones (in case it was just dust) - but the color was the same.2. The stones are much smaller than I expected - the biggest pieces are about 3/4 of an inch, but most are smaller fragments that are on the order of 1/2 inch or less.

We used these lava rocks in our tabletop fire table and when the rocks heat up they explode and shot all over then place. Luckily the exploding piece hit my daughter in the arm not in the face or eye.

When I received my bag it was only half full. Although the bag label says 5lbs, that was clearly NOT! It only filled up a 22oz cup and for $16 clearly a rip off!
