Tommy BahamaKing Quilt Set, Soft Bedding with Matching Shams, Cozy Bedspread, Bedding Set for All Seasons (Chevron White, King)

Wow this quilt is so soft. It washed up beautifully and it has that great soft, worn in feel without it being worn in. Lovely color as well. I did have to turn it for it to fall properly on the bed like some of the reviews said. Purchased a king size and it has some length it is definitely not “oversized” for a long length. I’m able to tuck it in a bit on the sides for a clean look. Overall, would buy it again and will keep on eye on future bedding from Tommy Bahama!

This set is a really good buy for the money. The quilt is very nice. High quality cotton fabric and good workmanship. The shams are a different story. I was unable to use them. The white pillow covers in the photo are NOT the shams that came with the set. They are way too big for a standard size pillow and don't fit a queen size pillow either. I purchased a queen size set. The back is an "envelope" closure and the back fabric is really cheap. But the quilt is GREAT, I'm used to high quality bedding so this quilt was a pleasant surprise.

Great quality and soft!

Received it today, washed it cold water delicate cycle then dryer on medium which partially dried so finished on high heat for 15 minutes. Perfect fit on platform king bed with 12" high mattress to cover the sides of mattress without hanging below the frame.. The shams were too loose until I washed them. Color gray is medium, not too light and not too dark. Some photos make it look very light gray which would have been too washed out for our room so was very happy with the shade. No loose threads. Soft enough while still has firmness to maintain shape. Other Tomy Bahama items we have bought over the years seem to be of good quality so we will see how this wears over time but it is substantial so doubt it will have issues. We usually buy cotton duvet cover sets from Crate and Barrel (on sale) which are still going strong after almost 20 years despite many washings and border collies jumping on them playing King of the Mountain, so we have high standards. But we wanted a lighter weight quilted coverlet for summer and this is quite perfect. Accessorized with cotton blanket and throw pillow in a medium green in the olive end of the green color spectrum to go with our walls. Casual yet classy look with its contemporary Chevron pattern. Couldn't be more pleased and at about a third of the cost for a new Crate and Barrel duvet set.

I hesitated to buy this quilt because of concerns in the reviews I read, mostly regarding quality, thickness and shrinkage. I kept it in my cart for a couple of weeks and the price for a king came down by $25. So I decided to purchase the king size for my queen bed because of the shrinkage reports and because I wanted the sides to hang down enough to reach my bed skirt. I am very happy with the way it looks and feels. It shrunk enough (in hot water and high heat dryer) to fit my queen bed as shown in the picture. I also like the weight of the fabric, not too thin and not too heavy, just right as Goldilocks would say. I would say the quality is what I would expect from a Tommy Bahama product. If you plan to purchase a king for a queen bed, please keep in mind you will get King sized shams, and they are huge. I already had shams that match my bed skirt, so I will just tailor the shams for another queen bed in my home where I needed new shams. I probably should have given 4 stars due to shrinkage and having to pay the higher price for a king set, but since I really love my new quilt, I cut Tommy a break!

I’m very happy with this quilt. It’s a good value. I wasn’t looking for something expensive. We live in the Caribbean and I wanted something thin and lightweight, yet warm enough on breezy evenings. This is perfect. I was a bit concerned about some of the reviews saying it was not big enough. I find it to be perfect on our bed, which is also higher than the average bed (34” from floor to top of mattress). I’m not super picky, but I think it’s plenty of overhang. It did not shrink in the washer, and I let it air dry. I got good pillows- Pillowflex synthetic down 21 x 37 pillows off of Amazon and they fill the cases completely. They’re huge and awesome. Very satisfied and would recommend this set if you’re looking for a good value for your money.

The quality is great, but it is definitely not a king. It is more like a queen. Unfortunately I washed it before I put it on my bed so I can't return it.

but, it's a nice quality product, overall.

I saw some other reviews mention to get a King size for a Queen bed and I'm glad that I did this. Despite the packaging saying it was pre-washed, it shrank A LOT in the wash (following the directions) but it does end up being a good size for a Queen bed after it shrinks. It unfortunately seems to pill quite easily though, one wash following the instructions and there are little pills of fluff all over the quilt even though it was dried alone in the dryer.Overall it's a nice, basic quilt but I don't know that I would buy this again after seeing how it washes. It is very nice and cozy without being too warm, though.

Tommy Bahama White Chevron Quilt was exactly as pictured. It's been really difficult to find a good quality cotton quilt for a reasonable price. The twin is excellent quality, washes perfectly and no wrinkling or loose threads. Perfect for my child's room for Spring, Summer and Fall! Very happy with this purchase!

I bought the Queen size for our twin daybed in the guest room because I wanted two pillow shams. I cut the quilt to size and I now have enough fabric leftover to make another pillow sham. Perfect. The colour is as advertised and good quality for the price I paid. Highly recommend.

I purchased this quilt and love the look and feel. I don’t sleep with it on the bed so don’t know about warmth. I was hesitant to order because of some of the reviews but I’m glad I did. i actually purchased two other quilts but once I received this one... I returned the other two because I liked this one much better!
