Build Quality issues, sounds works then does not work...very loud when it does. Unless it's for a one-time event... pay extra and get a better brand

The train is nicely finished, attractive, and all of the features work. It is not designed for rough play, it is more decorative than an actual toy, but that is what we bought it for. Worth the money, and our grandson will get a kick out of seeing it circling the tree. It can be set up using a circular track as it is in my picture. If you have more room, you can set it up as an oval. It does have small parts that will break off in young hands, so be aware of that it will require adult supervision with little ones around.

My 3 year old loves it!!!! Good size track, realistic train sounds, and music. Only gave 4 star because it is VERY LOUD, and there is no option to stop the Christmas music, I reccomend putting a peice of thick tape over speaker on the top. Takes 6 AA batteries.

Bigger that I thought but took couple of pieces out and done . Really love it.

Returned this one as the sound was DOA when we set it up. We replaced it with the Lionel G gauge Polar Express and we love that train. Much better quality too.
