Nice set, pretty and functional
I read the reviews first so the set turned out to be better than expected, although I do agree that the center piece is a bit small and in our sink the center of the sink is 2 1/2" wide and the protector is only 2" wide which makes the sides flare out a bit more than it would if it fit properly, however, it still does the job if protecting the main center divider of the sink. Suction cups on each side could totally hold it down snug, do wish it had them, but knew it didn't before ordering. That being said, I will still use all 3 pieces, as they are more functional than not, they protect and improve the look of our sink, even without the perfect fit. Very pretty design. For reference, our sink is smaller than most newer sinks these days. Each side is 15×13, so the mats are a bit big and don't lay totally flat. I could cut them to fit better but don't think I will, as they protect the edges of our porcelain sink a bit better anyhow. When you put a dish on them they flatten out & do their job. If this set had suction cups on the centerpiece I would def give it 5 stars. You can't fault the set not fitting perfectly due to the size of your sink, it is what it is, but to be able to secure the sides of the center protector down from flaring out a bit, by simple suction cups attached, would be perfect! Overall a great purchase, hope it holds up & stays nice looking for awhile. These 3 piece sets are hard to find in a desirable design & color. I have included several pics so you can see the slight flare of the centerpiece and how the mats fit in our sink so you can compare the size of your own & get a better idea prior to ordering. This sure beats the ugly, old, black rubbermaid set we had to protect the porcelain sink from sctratches. That set went immediately in the trash (even though that centerpiece had suction cups & fit better) I'd MUCH rather have this set & live with the little imperfections. Overall very pleased with this.

Ignore the instruction not to open the box, and enjoy these nice mats
My package was sealed with bright red tape saying "Do Not Open" -- an unexpected label for a product you have purchased. If the same happens to you, I recommend being courageous and opening the box, as nothing will happen to you. I bought the clear sink mats, but they have a very faint sky-blue tint which makes them look really good in a white sink. The sink saddle is a welcome component, as I am regularly banging pots or dishes into the divider between the two sinks.

Colored stained on the first day
I was so disappointed with this. I ordered the clear stone style. On the first day I had them, an empty enchilada casserole dish with red enchilada sauce was washed on one of them, and it turned pink/red. I used comet with bleach on the mat, but couldn't budge the stain. Now one mat on one side of the sink is nice and clear and the other side of the sink is pink. Not happy.

I love this, others not so much
I really like this product. I have an older white sink and it has a couple stains and chips and is super loud when I'm doing dishes. These mats are super cute and keep it from getting more scratches ect. The reviews I read are sometimes negative, like "its smelly" or "food gets trapped under it". Well yeah..it has holes between the "rocks", of course food gets under it. Unless you pile dishes in your sink for days at a time, it's simple. I clean my dishes at the end of the day, when I'm done I rinse them off, pick them up and rinse the sink! Not that hard. As far as smelling.. a bit pitch, plasticky at first but after a couple weeks that goes away. Not one other person in the house noticed it being any more smelly than any.other new plastic thing we gotten before. Anyway, the ONLY reason I gave it 4 out of five stars is the middle "saddle" is a bit short, but still.. it keeps the pans from banging loudly against the separator.

Easy to Clean
I like the mats. I now feel like my new Kohler Sink is protected from scratches. The pattern is pieces attached to each other, with a small space in between each piece. The adjustment I made, was to line it up the way I wanted to set it in the sink, then with avery sharp blade, I cut out a round 4 1/2 inch hole around the actual drain area.By doing this, I won't have to remove the mat every time I want to use the disposal. I will beable to get most of it down the sink with out removing the mat.
