Nowhere on the plates themselves nor the attached tag does it state these are food grade stainless steel or anything of the sort. Since I purchased for that quality alone (food grade ss), I'm returning.

My plates just arrived and despite being exactly as described, there are disappointingly only 3 plates rather than the 4 that are advertised/what I paid for. Please send me a 4th plate? Thanks.

Purchased the 10.25 inch plates for my camping mess kit. On the first "overlanding" adventure they met all expectations. They are a decent size, light weight yet durable enough. They also happen to nest in my GSI Frypan very well too, and the storage bag proved to keep any rattling or scratching from occurring. Worked well for me, met my expectation, I'm a happy camper.

I bought these plates so my family could use them outside on the patio, without worrying about anything breaking.The plates don't rust, even when washed in the dishwasher. They are lightweight, which would be good for camping. The size is good for kids and small appetites, but a little small for adults.If I had my 'druthers, the compartments would be a bit deeper, so one could put say, stew in one section, a biscuit in the other, and dessert or fruit in the third. Deeper sections would make it easier to serve more liquid foods without worrying about unintentional contamination -- as kids are wont to do.

I really like these plates, haven't used them yet as I just received them but put them through the dishwasher today. I ordered the 10.25 set of 4. they are surprisingly light weight but sturdy. these aren't big heavy thick SS but they are plenty sturdy and stable and since they are lightweight, easy to pack. I like the wide outer lip so you can hold onto the plate easily. I bought these for my kids for both home and outdoors/camping etc.I like the mesh bag they came in as well. seems to be durable and over sized a bit so I can slide several other items in there with them
