What a fantastic book
For me, this was a binge read. In one evening start to finish. When reading it, I laughed and I cried.I love the author Kristen Granata not only because she is a fabulous writer, but also because of how relatable her books are to myself. When reading this book, I realised something about myself I hadn't realised I was doing. It honestly made my Christmas!(I loved the dedication as well 🥰)This is a book I read on KU and then madesure I had a hard copy. I received my hard copy today and will be taking it on a road trip just before New year's.If the author is reading this I just want to say a big thank you, what your doing is so important. Keep up the amazing work!

A steamy little Christmassy novella!!
This book came very highly recommended to me by quite a few people and as I absolutely love steamy little Christmassy novellas I definitely wanted to give it a try and oh my goodness it did not disappoint.Dear Santa features one of my all time favourite tropes - the ‘fake boyfriend’ and the story was very well written and told really well. From the very beginning I loved Jake Fallon and knew he was going to have a deep sad story behind him and then when bright and breezy Christina walks in, I just knew they were going to compliment each other perfectly - and they did! They both knew how to bring out the best in each other and make each other a better person.A truly heartwarming Christmas story with some sauciness and I loved it.This was the first book that I have read from this author and I enjoyed it so much I’ve now added all her back catalogue to my Kindle Unlimited reading list and I can’t wait to get stuck in…..

Such a good book and very spicy.
Fast paced short story that you won't want to put down. The plot is gripping and you'll most likely end up reading it in one. Very spicy with characters you won't want to let go of, if that's what you like then I would highly recommend. Good quality print too. Brilliant winter read!

quick read
I liked the writer's style which kept me interested. Jake is drinking to forget when he meets Christina and overhears her plan. Some parts did not gel but it was a quick read and I liked both characters.

A sweet strangers to lovers read
Christina was looking to hire an escort to pretend to be her boyfriend so that she can avoid some of her mother’s harsh criticism of her lifestyle, her career…everything that makes Christina, Christina. The thing is, Jake isn’t the escort Christina hired and as the holiday progresses, things feel less and less fake…This is such a sweet novella about two ‘broken’ people finding that they are worthy of everything good in life 🥹💕*check TWs!

Beautiful and Sexy Love Story
Let me start by saying, I really love Granata’s writing style. She writes deep and meaningful love stories that are both vulnerable and sexy.I’m telling you, if a book is shallow, I don’t want it, and Granata always delivers. The fake dating trope is a hit or miss, and usually it’s a miss for me. Dear Santa, however, hits this trope just right. The entry into the fake dating scenario and everything that follows flows easily and it’s not a hard sell. Christina and Jake’s chemistry is fun and believable and raw and and sexy. The whole story just falls into place in such an organic and enjoyable way.The depth of this story is deserving of further praise due to its timely relatability. The heavy topics that can sometimes surround the holidays like loneliness, depression, suicide, strain within families, and so on are not usually addressed in romantic fiction. This story manages to be light and sexy while also touching on some of these very heavy and real topics. If none of the above topics are triggers for you, I highly suggest reading this beautifully written novella and every other book Kristen Granata has ever written!

SHORT BUT SWEET
Another beautiful story. Fast paced, short but sweet. Depression is a common factor not only in the music industry but also in other industries involving actors or painters or sculptors. Over the years we see youngsters unable to handle fame and soon spinning off the mainstream. Nicely described here.
