Ordered through Amazon Prime got it delivered the same day. Safe- an earlier 2600W Tefal iron would trip the electricity circuit- no problem with this one even though same wattage. The result on cotton and linen is first rate and even the toughest of crease vanishes. The effect on woolen and silk is equally good, however I wonder, if for long term durability of the fabric, dry cleaning is a better option. The effect on suits especially is fabulous and these suits can be ironed vertically in hanger without putting them on the iron board. For the moment, I am sticking to this iron for woolens and silk- the results are fabulous. Another major plus is its glidability and non stickability. One drawback is that the steam button gets inadvertently pressed when you pick up the iron, it can be annoying and hazardous (if the steam is shown towards the body) but it is a small inconvenience to pay when considers its benefits. Over 4 days of use, I am getting used to handling the iron and there are no inadvertent steam spraying from the iron while picking up. Another thing is that it does not have an automatically retractable power cord. It takes some effort for lazy chaps like me to put it back. Further, one needs a proper iron board to make full use of the iron- the sort of boards where steam breathes easily from under the fabric and the board when pushed from the iron. I have an old iron board with multiple layers of cloth in it and it does become wet after 20 odd cloths. All the short comings are not major and I just love the iron and the quality of ironing it does. Absolutely the best iron on sale in terms of power 8 bars and 650 grams (compared to 200-250 in normal irons) in the market now. The gold color is also very appropriate for middle east even though, I would have personally opted for black grey, if available. For the price one pays, I just hope it has longevity- i.e it lasts long enough even though reading the review of many other such Tefal steam generators, there is no reason to believe it will not!

First one came but it wasn't working properly, I have been using steam generators for many years, so I knew it wasn't right. They were fast to respond with a replacement.

The quality of the old model was better. The buttons and the plastic used were higher quality. A bit disappointed that Tefal didn’t use better materials for a high end product.

This iron has only been used 3 times and the tank keeps leaking. So disappointed as I had to work hard to get this iron... It has ruined a desk that it was sat on and the ironing board is now permanently water stained. Trying to get in touch with tefal.

Just perfect. Very smooth ironing and the steam boost kills any wrinkles. Very efficient as well, can help you iron a tshirt in 1 minute and shirt in less than 3.

Tefal gave the best deal in iron and its a very gd investment for your house

It makes ironing an easy chore to do !
