This book serves almost as a guide to modern architecture in 20th century Cairo. Showcasing various projects based on typology and location, this book contains images that you’ll likely never be able to find elsewhere. The descriptions are also highly informative, albeit a little on the technical side. This book makes one nostalgic of a Cairo that once was. It was definitely worth the purchase.

Gut geschriebener, grafisch perfekt aufbereiteter Architekturführer durch das Kairo des 20. Jahrhunderts.Das haptisch angenehme Papier lässt leider einige der Schwarzweiß-Fotografien "absaufen".

Livre très intéressant qui aborde un sujet pas bien documenté ailleurs. J'aime surtout le taille de ce volume, pas du tout encombrant et très pratique.
