Defective product
I took it out today to use it for the first time. When I switched it on, it sparked and then died. How do I return this defective product and get a replacement?(Addendum) I was told that there was no return for this defective item. This is very bad. At least if we buy from a shop they will replace the defective piece. Also other Amazon’s are more customer friendly. Not like the one here. I’m very disappointed since I’m a good customer.

Broke when chopping dates
This worked pretty well until today, although I didn't use it much. Today I wanted to chop dates and the top, plastic section of the blade that goes into the lid (for the chopper) actually just peeled off from the strain, now it can't be used. It's made of plastic and I'm thinking good quality ones are probably steel. Works well for soup though.
