Wish I had this 20 years ago
I designed and built two cars from scratch (Google "Kimini" and "Midlana"). Did all the wiring myself and without a label maker, nearly all the wiring is unmarked, making schematics a must. Having the wires labeled would have been an enormous help. I'm now building a CNC router and using this product - it's great!

Nice label maker
Best labler for the money. Tons of different compatible tape colors/sizes/materials. Not perfect but does the job, nice case too.

Great product
I use this label maker primarily for labeling the wiring harness on my RV-8A aircraft project. It works great. It's easy to use and allows you to save commonly or often used labels. Print on the heat shrink tubing resists smearing and rubbing off. One of the best tools I've purchased.

Great kit. Complaints with dyno
First of all want to say. In term of the product, listing order everything about it. It’s a great printer. Exactly everything you see is what you get. My complaint is more with dump. Why in the world would you not Have all of the hazmat symbols stored. You can do multiple but all of the stand warning placards aren’t of the unit. Also why do you guys feel the need to have so much unnecessary waste. Listen I get you’re a company and want to make money. But the extra 1.5 to 2 inches of tape waste on every single label that’s created is ridiculous. And no it’s not necessary just to be long enough to come out of the machine. There’s should be an adjustment for how much extra tape you want. I feel like more than half of my tape that I guy gets wasted and thrown away because the machine makes you use 6 inches for one letter. Tons of plastic waste. Way to save the environment dymo. Even using custom tape length is such a pain becuase you have to change it for every single thing you type.Another thing. It does happens quite a bit. Depending on weather as well that the words are unreadable because of a blank line for. The middle of whatever you’re printing. When the letters and number are small as it is you can’t have so many gaps in itOverall it’s a good kit. The machine is pretty easy to use. With some minor adjustments that i wish were made

Misleading product description however unit itself is fantastic.
At the time of writing, despite reviews dating back years, this product still states that it includes battery and case, however sadly this is not the case.I will however offer an opinion on the Dymo Rhino 4200 which is a great value label writer that is very convenient to use, I purchased this for use with Dymo Heat Shrink for network installs which I think overall, this will be great for, the print quality is decent enough to be easily read and the keyboard layout allows for quick and simple label making.I've given this a 3 star rating due to the item not matching the description at the time of purchase however I would recommend this if you are looking only for the base unit.
