Ordered as an end of school year gift...it was a couple days late, but not a big deal here in the Covid-time. A VERY delighted child who went immediately to start reading it...

I had to dock a full star because of the three page Rap Battle between Jack and Frey. Yes, you read that right. *Cringe*I never go into these companion books with big expectations, I always just take them as face value - quirky little extras from the books I love. This one was no different. And it did set up book 2 of the MC trilogy, so it did its job.

Again a great buy. The product is beautiful and just as described. It's so amazing it gives you the chills. This guide is an absolute necessity for all the Magnus Chase fans out there who wants to go a little deeper and know a bit more about Norse mythology.
