For SLOW meats only
Valentines gift for a meat-lovin' husband. Certainly made a good looking present and the spices sounded and smelled really exciting. The flavours only really comes through in depth on a slow smoke or if the dish is left overnight. But they don't fully develop during regular cooking/BBQ, you only get a "hit of hotness" without the accompanying flavours. Since hubby loves experimenting on the smoker, this works for us, but someone looking for rubs for faster meals, it might be disappointing. Might be worth noting the slow flavour development in the description.
