Q: Can i use regular nail polish for the stamping instead of the gel?

No, I tried before because I only bought the stamps and it did not work,I had to bought this kit with everything, that is really good, but I am not sure if what you ask is if the base has to be gel? Actually I have not tried a regular nail polish but I think it does not work on regular because you have to cure it with the lamp, in the instructions it says

Q: Does it come with light? Are these gels usable without UV curing?

These stamping gel need to be cured under UV/LED Light, and we don't provide the UV lamp.

Q: how to you clear gel off the parts of the stamp you don't want? i can't get a clean transfer because the designs are soo close together

After you use the stamp to transfer the pattern, you can use transparent tape to stick the unwanted part away, just like our operation video
