This is a good little device. Fairly easy to use and clear, although I think it takes some getting used to on the medium rare setting.I was looking forward to using this but it ended in a nightmare. The device looks great and is switched on really simply. I plugged into my meat on the BBQ Smoker, and I started monitoring the meat to cook to temp. I had an old temp gauge similar to this but chose this due to the initial simplicity to set the temps.The gauge comes with magnets on the back and is similar to the one I already owned. I used the magnet to attach to the BBQ. Within a few secs, it errored and I grabbed it off to find the plastic on the back melting.Although the device did continue to monitor the machine kept on erroring again and again. I did manage to watch the temp and keep this off the BBQ to success. I would suggest if your going to purchase dont put this near any hot surface as the plastic is cheap and not protected, ironically unlike the cheaper one I already owned.It appears to be a good device, and I will try and use it again, however I am likely to have to find a replacement.

This was bought to replace an older version of a meat thermometer we had. This one is great. The touch screen is brilliant and it comes with way more settings than I was expecting. I wasn't expecting fish, veal, Turkey and hamburgers to be on the list of meats. Has both Celsius and Fahrenheit settings and also includes a timer which you switch over at the back. The small magnets are also a nice touch as it can easily attach to the oven to save space on the counter.Only con it didn't come with batteries which I was expecting it too but a lot of things these days don't come with batteries

With this your food should be cooked like the professional, cook, byinternal temperatures, you know that it is cooked and safe to eat.

I bought this for testing the temperature of cooked meats. It works really well, beeping to indicate when the required temperature has been reached. It’s easy to use and easy to clean.

It works. But the light times out on a couple of seconds, the main unit lacks magnets to attach to ovens etc and why couldn’t they have used a high melting point plastic on the probe handle rather than bare metal.

Product worked as expected but temperature probe seems to have failed and unit goes into alarm when probe is connected.

Practical and very simple to use, reliable in its measurements. If its magnets were a little stronger it would be perfect.
