We're Going on a Ghost Hunt

This book was perfect for the Halloween season. I read it to my students and they absolutely loved it that we read it more then once. I like how it teaches my students position words like over and under.

My niece and I love reading we’re going on a bear hunt. She also loves Halloween. So when I saw this book I thought what a perfect fit. It’s a cute book, but it didn’t flow well or grab our attention like bear hunt does.

This follows along the same line as "we're going on a bear hunt" though there is one page in particular that I'm like "why?" - and that was for the giant tree. But whatev. It's a cute story nonetheless.

A really fun book to read aloud.

This book is set to the rhythm of the kids book "Going on a Bear Hunt". It was a great Halloween themed twist on that book. My 2 1/2 year old son LOVES Bear Hunt and he picked up the rhythm of this book right away. He really enjoyed it, and I would recommend it, especially if your kids like Bear Hunt.

I did like this book. It was a cute story, but unlike the classic story "We're Going on a Bear Hunt"... this story's rhyme felt a little forced.The illustrations are well done and it is a comical tale.I just wished it had the more sing-song rhythm when reading it aloud.

Good illustrations enjoyed by 3 year old grandson.
