Excellent explanation of End Times
Dayton Hartman has written a phenomenal book that weeds through a lot of the confusion surrounding end times and focuses on the most important part of eschatology: Jesus wins!!! This book is a must-read for every Christian, especially for those looking to understand the end-times and needing an introductory book. "Our official position is that Jesus wins. We are free to disagree on the details of the timing and particulars of his victory, but he does win and that's what unites us in hope."Hartman goes on to give an explanation of the most prominent eschatological views and the proponents of these views. However he does not get bogged down in the intricacies of each view or where he personally disagrees with them. Instead he focuses on some of their common themes and brings it all back to Jesus as the eternal conqueror, elevating the importance of the gospel through it all. In his words, keeping primary issues primary and secondary issues secondary.Hartman has a wonderful way with words which makes this book not only easy to read but difficult to put down! How encouraging that a study of the end-times should make us hopeful as we rest in the promise that Jesus wins!

“Jesus Wins” is a Winner
A terrifically terse treatment of a tremendously contentious topic. Dayton’s helpful emphasis on both the real point of eschatological thinking (i.e. as Christians, we get to share in Jesus’ victory over death and evil) and the right placement of ‘end times’ debate (relocating the conversation from today’s headlines to the church’s historical views, especially as expressed in the ancient Christian creeds) is so refreshing! “Jesus Wins” is a worthwhile read for pastors and likely a useful tool in helping to equip newer Christians for truly profitable thinking (and living) in light of the future.

Be Motivated By Hope, Not Fear!
Many of us grew up dreading Jesus’ return instead of anticipating it and living in light of it. What a tragedy! Thank you Dayton for writing a hope-fillled, pastorally comforting and mission-fueled introduction to eschatology!

God's Plan is Unity Based on Love - Not Knowledge
This short book challenges us to focus on what should unite us, namely that the return of Jesus to make all things new is far more important than our theories about how that great event will happen in history. Let us take heart and encourage one another with the certainty of Jesus' victory. Come, Lord!

So Encouraging
With all of the evil going on in the world today, it is good to be reminded that God is in control, and He wins. As a Christian we have nothing to fear about the future.

Read this book
Dayton puts the modern eschatological position into historical perspective. We needlessly divide from the brethren over speculative doctrine. Dayton persuades us to think in terms of acceptable range of doctrinal positions instead of rigid single positions.
