This product is light and comfortable and works great for a pioneer costume.

I bought this at reduced price as limited numbers/sizes were available. I am usually xs/s but had to get an M. Overall it still fit well as the straps are easily adjustable and it was perfect over a long sleeve maxi dress to easily transform in to a prairie costume. It was very comfortable and was not too hot in the summer weather. The pockets are actually very practical! It fit my phone and papers and even a note book nicely. I wore it all day without really noticing it and I can see it as being a practical piece of clothing too.Highly recommend.

Bought for a school presentation project for my daughter to wear. Nice costume piece that will hold up. Already washed and dried well and without issues.

This version had an apron and is mostly cotton. It does have a back zipper and it is machine stitched so it is not truly authentically made like back in the day... BUT it looks very good and is fairly inexpensive. If you want a hand-stitched authentic version, then buy the cloth, stitch it by hand... but you will spend a lot of time and money doing that. This is a very good alternative for the turn of the century look it evokes.Be VERY CAREFUL which version you order... one is mostly cotton and comes with an apron, the other is mostly polyester and does not include an apron... ;(Some other people bought the aproned one and the dress was mostly polyester.... just beware that the one you get may be mostly cotton or mostly poly... and if you are not real careful when ordering, you may or may not get the apron.

This dress was perfect. The only thing that could have made it better was pockets! The apron was cute too but I had to cook a strap across the upper back because it kept falling off my shoulders. Otherwise 5 stars!

I'm 5'6", 160# and usually wear M8-10. After reading reviews, I ordered a size up. Perfect. It fit nicely, and the elastic was a nice surprise for comfort. The length was very nice and the fabric was of good quality, although ironing was required. The big complaint is the apron. There's no possible way for the top of the Apron to stay on your shoulders without something to hold it there. I was in a pinch and had to use binder clips. Lol But otherwise, nope. The apron fell completely off.
