I suggest checking checking the size chart.

Have a look at the size chart is the best thing I can suggest. Mine in a Large/Size Uk12 was a bit big down the body.

Q: what size should I order to fit UK 12

Well, I ordered a large but my dressmaker had to take it in down the sides as it was too big. Lovely fabric and colour though I would have preferred long sleeves.
