Routledge Ethics for Behavior Analysts

The part of the book I could read was very informative and well written. Unfortunately, two of the chapters were printed on top of each other. I got this book for a class and wasn't able to finish my readings for the week those chapters were assigned. I tried to contact the seller, but they never responded.

I had to purchase this book for a grad school ethics course and when I got to my assigned reading for this week the pages were completely missing. The book jumps from page 112 to 129. It’s clearly a publisher error and unfortunately my return window for amazon has passed. I’m extremely disappointed because these textbooks aren’t cheap. Luckily this one wasn’t that bad. But I still needed the missing pages to complete my homework and participate in class discussions.

My copy was missing chapters 2 and 3. Pages from chapter 6 were put in place of chapters 2 and 3. As the pictures show, pages go from 8 then jump to 73-88 then back to page 25 with pages 9-24 missing. In later chapters the text is overlapped making it impossible to read.

Normally I am not one to write reviews, especially on books I’m purchasing for my graduate school courses. But this product really ticked me off. DO NOT buy this book if you actually care to have a real product. I received a book that was obviously photocopied and placed into poor binding. This is ridiculous, I spent the exact same amount of money on this book that I would have spent for a real production of this book. The pages are so incredibly thin that I better not highlight or mark anything because it will be seen on the other side of that page.

This was a very helpful elucidation of the BACB's ethics code and conduct guidelines. I read this book for a graduate school class, and feel that it conveyed the content of the class almost without the assistance of the professor. I wish I had read this book earlier in my life; it is a useful text for anyone in the professional field of human services.
