Smaller than I thought

Frankly, I haven't even used the candles yet since I purchased the citronella scented ones for outside use and the season for them has not arrived in Michigan. I can state that the scent of the unlit candles is quite strong and I have high hopes for them. The jars are very pretty and were just what I was looking for to add some color. Unfortunately, the jars have one major flaw--a large sticker set dead center on top of the lid. I knew I didn't want it on the jars since it was ugly and the humidity would in time distort it, so I soaked the lids and started to remove the stickers. Imagine my surprise that the stickers actually covered up a similar design that was part of the jar itself. The design labeled the scent of the candles which was different than the citronella ones I ordered. Obviously, rather than make new lids for the citronella scent, the company simply had stickers made to cover the design stating another scent. What a cheap and foul move! The thing I really can't understand is why mar the pretty lids with a large white circle in the first place. Why not put it on the inside of the lid or on the bottom of the jar? Since I can buy citronella scented candles all over, I purchased these specifically for the pretty jars--will not buy again.

The wick lasted a long time. Scent was not too strong. Seemed to keep the bugs away. Didn't see any coming around.

These candles are so precious. The containers are adorable! They also smell great. The box they come in is beautiful. I use the lid with the top of the lid facing upward and I sit the candle on top of it. It makes the perfect base for the candle. It fits perfectly. They look expensive but they aren't.I just adore them. I will be buying more.Highly recommend.

I brought these candles partly because they were decorative and partly to reuse the tin but mostly for the fragrance. The fragrance was very very light and these candles are extremely small, very tiny so they burned quickly. I wasn't able to reuse the tins becsuse the wax was all over the place inside the tin, and unless I wanted to turn it into a project I just disgarded them. I don't think it's a good value for the money. It's nice, but I wouldn't purchase again.

I bought these because of the really beautiful little tins they are in. I make my own candles and I'm always on the lookout for unusual containers. I've also shared these with a family member who is obsessed with paisley designs. In my opinion the candles themselves are poorly made. The wax does not melt to the edge, so they will not burn as long as if the wicks were sized appropriately for the containers. This is unfortunate because the fragrances are very nice. Not overpoweringly strong, but pleasant nonetheless. I look forward to using the lovely little tins again and again.

Easy and effective way to beat the bites.

Beautifully boxed package of 4 candles, I love them! I don't like vanilla scent though, so I'm keeping 3 of the candles for myself and giving the vanilla one away to someone as a gift. Wow, these just look and smell beautiful!I ordered this set because it had lemon in it and I have a hard time finding lemon scented candles.I'm glad to have these.
