These are a fantastic cheap option for outside lights if you don't have a plug handy, I've installed along the gutter across the front of our house and they work perfectly. The timer option is such a great feature for a cheap set of lights, on for 6 hours (4.20pm to 10.20pm) and then off until 4.20pm next day, saves battery life and going out to switch on and off. So far they've stood up to frosts, gales and driving rain still working perfectly.

When I bought this, I thought I had bought a plug in power set. At first I was dissapointed that I had made a mistake. But what a good product this is! Battteries lasted for three weeks and were still going when we took the tree down. The timer function is good, as is the flashing functions you can choose from. Very happy!

Look very pretty indoors around a bookcase in the lounge. The white cable is great and looks much nicer than black if you’re using these lights indoors. Can’t comment on battery life but as I’ve put Duracell in I expect them to last a while. I set them to come on at approx 3.15 pm til 9.15 pm as the evenings are dark early this time of year (mid Nov)

I bought these lights for use outdoors as Xmas lights covering a small hedge. The timer function of the lights is thus a useful feature and once on, the lights continue for at least 6 hours before going off until the required time the next day.Have had these lights a week and so far so good re the timer function working as required and batteries lasting.There are a number of settings you can choose for the light sequence but have opted for a constant light rather than the twinkling or slow fade for example.The length of the wire is great and being green blends into the hedge so only the lights are seen.The lights are nice colours of green, red, yellow and blue and are sufficiently bright to be seen from the road without being overly garish.Battery life is good to date and the lights and control box have thus far fared well in wet weather. Given the price and performance of the product, am very happy with this purchase!

Realised last years had failed and as a vulnerable person was isolating. Spotted these, which came in two sets so factor in petrol money and travelling time, a bargain! Would recommend and you can keep on a steady light as not keen on themany flickering options

These lights are really pretty, multifunction and the timer means that if you forget to turn them off, it's ok. Use good batteries and they'll last a decent amount of time. I'll be keeping these up after the festive season in some way. The warm white shade works all year round.

I have got these wrapped around a mirror in my bedroom.I leave them on whilst i fall asleep and using the timer function they will switch themselves off during the night time zone.The different functions are handy - could be used at Christmas as they have flashes.
