Really impressed with this book. Completely links in with children's school work. My new reception child started getting satpin worksheets home and I've got straight onto activities with her and it's week 2. I know the book will follow be through the whole process now. I absolutely loved Daisy's first book, and it was a total lifesaver during lockdown with my little boy last year. He starts school in September and so this book is perfectly timed for us. I love how it covers everything related to starting school, from phonics and numbers, to kids' emotional needs and practical tips for managing them. It also includes special educational needs as well, which is brilliant. Like Daisy's first book, this book is very accessible and easy to use. I just know it's going to be a huge help over the next few months and those early years at school. Thank you SO much Five Minute Mum for everything you've done for us - you're my hero!

Follow Daisy on social media so knew the sort of games to expect but this could be read as a complete newcomer and still makes sense. The book is laid out in to easy to follow and access sections, terminology is explained in easy to understand terms.The games are fun and can be adapted to suit different ages (I would say up to about 7 depending on ability) and use equipment that most parents of young children will have around their home.Now if you could write a book for teenagers Daisy I would be eternally grateful : )
