As a professional online record vendor, I go through a LOT of boxes, and these are my bread & butter workhorse boxes for about 90% of my shipments. Can fold to accommodate 1-2 LP's or 4-5 depending upon which set of perforations you fold at. Nice quality corrugated box, and the price is the best of any I've found with comparable quality. I used to buy pallet loads from other vendors over the years, but have stuck with these now for the past 3 years and will continue to use them as long as Amazon offers them at this great price!

Quality record, mailers, and the best price I could find online

I'm sure there are more premium LP mailers out there, but these definitely do the job.I initially ordered the combo pack of 50 mailers + 50 inserts. I used one insert and one junk LP as stiffeners (sometimes a piece of bubblewrap too) per LP mailer. I was happy enough with those to reorder this 100 mailer item, plus 200 inserts. Now I just use 2 cardboard inserts per mailer (and sometimes a piece of bubblewrap). The junk LPs were far superior protection, but I'm out of those. I do not like how the (select-a-size) perforation weakens the box, but I also wouldn't want to buy different sizes of LP mailers. I use a straightedge to pre-fold all the perforations because it comes out better and sometimes a perf is missing. I do reinforce the corners, and would do that for any LP mailer I think.For both orders, delivery took about a week (maybe less), which I am totally fine with because I am so happy to get this huge box shipped for no additional charge. These may be the minimum quality box that does the job, but the important thing to me is that they do get the job done at a very decent price-point. I don't mind taking some extra pains with how I package up my records. When I send off one of these mailers with inserts, I feel like the record inside would survive anything other than getting run over or impalement (I think the junk LP method would defend against moderate impalement). Feedback from my record-buyers about packaging has been 100% positive and complimentary. I am quite grateful for these totally adequate (for me) mailers that deliver themselves to my door for such a fair price.

I have sent many LPs using these boxes now and have not had any issues with them. For sure you will want the cardboard pads that go with these for the extra cushion. There is slight exposure on the corners for some bigger LP sets but if you tape all the edges you're good to go. They are perforated along the flaps to adjust to the appropriate size which is a feature not all boxes have.

I can't speak to how well these hold up in the mail but as with any mailer for fragile items, that will depend mostly on the carrier! They fit these stiffeners nicely and fold well around items placed into them. It's hard to fold just the edge you want (it's like tearing a sheet of toilet paper or paper towel, sometimes it tears where you want, other times it will tear further down and the roll will spin). Okay, not the best comparison, but suffice to say, they do the job and the price it right! No one wants to spend more than they have to on shipping supplies so it's nice to find good quality supplies for a decent price. There are much better quality mailers out there but these are good enough for anyone who doesn't need 'the best', which is most people.

I've ordered these more than once and will be again as needed. I did have 1 issue with a few boxes being not up to par because of manufacturing issue but that was not a big deal being only a few out of 100 boxes. I ship obscure hard to find vinyl records, so I am not comfortable with just any mailer. 5 Stars

I have ordered these quite a few times over the past few years. These don’t seem to be the same quality as before? Thinner, flimsier. Were changes made?
