ZAMATE Pet Feeder, 2.5L Smart Pet Feeder for Cats and Dogs, Cat and Dog Food Dispenser

I love! It's so convenient. I don't know why I waited so long to buy an item that makes life easier for me and my family. My dog ​​also likes it very much. This set is very cute. I like the moment I open it, it is easy to set up. Hope we will not encounter any problems in the future.

I bought this model because I did not want a big 4L or 5L feeder. I am not planning on leaving my cat alone for more than a day or two, not weeks, haha. 2.5L should last 2 weeks or more for one average adult cat. I bought this model specifically because it had a removeable stainless steel feeding bowl and I am glad I did because easier to clean and more hygienic. Most other models have plastic trays. The feeing app for this machine was not easy to find in the instructions and I found the app's name in someone's review (dpet smart). The app is not very user friendly at the beginning but I figured it out, except how to manually feed my cat unscheduled. This is a button on the machine to manually feed your pet but I also wanted to do it from my phone, I like the portion controls and I can adjust them as necessary. I used to feed my cat only twice a day and he was annoying me before feedings and I experimented with feeding him three times a day with the machine and things have improved. My cat now recognizes the sound of the feeding machine serving a portion and he will go running to the machine. At the beginning he waited for me to feed him at the machine until he realized the machine automatically dispensed his meals. I like that the app gives me notifications for every feeding and also audio notifications if I want them or I can turn it off. I was tempted to buy a more expensive feeding machine that had a built in webcam so I could see my cat eat if I was traveling but I decided against it. I think it is better to buy an inexpensive indoor security camera and use that instead and I bet the picture and sound quality will be better. Overall I pleased with the machine but wish the directions were clearer. I would also recommend buying a good water fountain (with changeable filters) to go along with your feeding machine if you don't have one.

This feeder is great! So easy to start using! The only thing that was tricky is that the QR code on the box does not take you to the app installer. The instruction manual has the app name veeeerrry tiny which is “Dpet Smart” app. Also, be sure to look at the instructions because there were a few parts I would have missed (like putting the included silica pouch in the lid to keep the food fresh!)I was easily able to schedule all of the pet feedings up to 5 feedings per day. Amounts are adjustable for each time. I give my kitties 2 big meals and 2 snacks per day. I only wish you could choose the app to show metric or imperial system of measure, but I can just use metric.I’ll see if maybe I can sleep in this week!

We adopted a puppy not long ago. She’s a 30 pound baby to start with! We had to feed her 3 meal a day with a lot of puppy food. It was a lot of work. So we ordered this feeder to help out. We scheduled her meals throughout the day. Once in a while, we will also give her a treat portion from the app. It was very easy to set up. She loves this thing. Every time when she heard the sound she f her food dropping into the stainless steel bowl, she would jump right up and walk to her bowl. We would recommend this feeder to dog owners and cat owners. Especially those owners who has a busy schedule themselves! You got have it!

This feeder gives us peace in mind. We are new with caring for cat. Last month, we went for a trip for 2 days and we had to give our cat a big bowl of food and wish for proper self-control from him. We also filled the cat toy with a full portion of cat food, so he could get it out little by little. We couldn’t have peace in mind whenever we thought about him during vacation. We are happy to see he was still alive and decided to get a feeder ready for future. This feeder is on the cheaper side, but works well. Setting up was a little confusing, but I managed to get it work after 30 minutes. The app is easy to use. It offers good portion size and keeps the accurate feeding time. We are happy with this purchase.

Portions weren’t super customizable - the portion sizes were too big for my cat. The app wasn’t super user friendly either. But for the right pet, this would work great - it just didn’t work for us. Also this item is non-returnable so make sure it’ll really work for you before purchasing.

My experience wasn’t great. First was delivered to the wrong house (not there fault). Second they send me a used one which was disgusting and food from it fell all over my house, ew! Anyway got this one, it works like a charm and my cat loves it haha. I’m really only writing this review to say the app you need is “smart life”. Not any of these other names listed all over because then, you’ll never find it.

The media could not be loaded.  A good quality feeder at an affordable price. I had many smart devices that work with the Smart Life app and this just makes a nice addition. Fast setup, so far no issues. Always on time, and give you a notification when feeding is complete and when it's running out of food. I have two cats and I made a splitter out of hard paper and it splits into two bowls. Every time it feeds the cats rush to eat, Lol. Also if you think the 5 feeding times on the feeder page are not enough, you can always use the smart automation to add more feeding times, as many as you want.
