Wow, these are beautiful, classy, and solid when mounted on the wall. I was delighted that the shelves have a somewhat varied colors on each side, allowing me to pick the one I liked best. Both are very nice.To makes things sturdier: after the shelf is mounted, twist the pipes nice and tight where they connect to the wall. Until we did this, the whole thing was a little wobbly.Assembly is easy, but mounting is a challenge. I'm not sure one person could this without extraordinarily accurate measuring. We ended up attached one of the pipe assemblies to the wall, then holding the second pipe assembly on the wall and laying a single shelf across them to aid levelling. With two of us, it was slightly tedious but straightforward.As noted, there are not instructions on how to assemble the unit. It seemed straightforward to figure it out, though.We like this so much we are going to buy more for other rooms of the house!PS I was not compensated in any way for sharing this opinion. I love this shelf! Was the perfect vibe for our new bathroom. Shelves are sturdy (and real wood, not laminate) and wide enough for large towels. Wasn’t difficult to assemble in my opinion- I see where that was a complaint from other reviews.

I was browsing Amazon for shelves and I found these, I didn’t know I was going to love them!!!! I ordered a desk and these shelves (both from Amazon) and the desk wasn’t great and the metal was very brittle on it and broke while I was assembling it, so I thought the same thing was going to happen with these shelves as soon as I opened the box I smelled the pine and it was awesome. The instructions were a little confusing at first, but some common sense and a drill Ifigured it out and it was super easy to assemble and put on my wall!! It came with brackets to secure the boards in place but I haven’t put them on yet because I was excited to put my books on there (I don’t even think I’ll need the brackets anyways) the weight of the books holds it down pretty good. This was a very awesome product with great materials (the wood and the iron pipes) 10/10 satisfied, 5/5 stars, I will purchase other products from this seller :)

Professional program/project manager here...enjoy home reno/remodel projects as well. This product was a reno of our small beach 'sugar shack' and RV lot we own out on the PNW coast.From the top; product was delivered as scheduled, in a reasonable lead-time...product packaging was excellent, no travel/transpo damage...the piping was much better than expected, it's NOT black iron, it has a hammered ornamental finish, 90% pre-assembled/welded/plumb/level, threads tapped well...great overall quality, including dual-finished shelf boards...there is an 'up' and 'down' in the design, no real caution to note that to the installer, but it does create some very interesting installation alternatives I wish I had considered [counter-mount the lower flanges and wall-mount the upper flanges]. I would absolutely recommend this product...I will be buying more. Happy building!

The shelves look great and are super sturdy. If you plan on putting a lot of books or other heavy objects on them, I would recommend attaching at least one side to a wall stud if possible and using hollow wall anchors if the placement you want doesn't line up with the studs. The included hardware is probably fine if you're not going to load the shelves heavily. The shelves can be installed by one person more easily if you mount the shelf supports one side at a time rather than doing it with the unit fully assembled (as the directions tell you to do).

I registered for this shelf for our wedding and didn't receive it, so we purchased it after the fact. Upon opening, the first thing to note is how tightly all the parts were packaged (pictured). Everything was taped, bubble wrapped, and secured with foam in a nice dense package. I appreciated this!On to installation.I'm a relatively handy gal but certain projects trip me up from time to time. Not the case with this shelf!I've included a picture of the instructions that are really more of a parts list. It's important to note, you want to put together each arm before trying to install. When I opened the package, my initial thought was that I could install each (4) circle brackets first, but I'm glad I didn't try that as I would have been unsuccessful.Anyway, I found it useful to have two levels handy. With the pipes being metal, I was able to stick a magnetic level to the side while I ensured it was vertically level and used another level on a shelf to ensure the arms would be level across.It came with extra parts, which was great, because I did need 2 extra wall anchors.I will note, one of the shelves was warped. This wasn't an issue because the package comes with shelf coupling brackets to secure the shelves in place (not listed in parts list) and it was strong enough to pull the shelf flat.Overall I would buy this again and recommend to anyone.

Bought this to put over a buffet style table and turned it into a coffee bar. This looks amazing in my dining room. Just perfect!

REAL wood! Not very easy to assemble or install but worth the effort. Sturdy if installed directly onto studs. I spray painted the pipes, prior to hanging, because the black was too dark..You will need a drill and a good level.Top and bottom of each bracket go into studs with predrilled holes..Side screws will need the anchors, included..I am a 68 yr old female..!
