ok filter but not as good as OEM
The Filter seemed very restrictive. I do a lot of work on the cars of different kinds. I have salvaged and brought multiple car motors back to life. When I received this filter, upon inspection, i noticed that this filter will make it difficult for the motor to breath easily. This filter has 25% lesser pleats compared to OEM (Higher the pleats the better the filter - IMO). The paper is more restrictive compared to OEM. This would cause unburnt gases to escape from exhaust - this is bad for the environment and would hurt the catalytic convertor, clog the exhaust and muffler with prolonged use.

You never go wrong when you use Wix filters.
There’s nothing more I can say about Wix filters than you can never go wrong when using them. For my money they are the best built, best performing, and best value for the price spent. I owned & operated an auto parts store for over 10 years & I have personally dissected many brands of filters & analyzed their performance. I will always use Wix, hands down no other options come close.

FITS 2018 RAM Eco Diesel perfectly
I don't know why all of a sudden Amazon thinks this filter doesn't fit my 2018 RAM Eco Diesel. For the last three times I have bought it Amazon said it did, and it does in fact fit perfectly. Even the Wix website says it fits. So Amazon screwed this one up.

2014 RAM 1500

Much thicker filter (more surface area), should filter better
First filter change at about 28000 miles. Original filter was pretty dirty but OK on intake side.WIX filter is quite a bit thicker but fits my 2016 RAM 5.7L Hemi fine. Also cleaned out the bottom side of the air filter box.The WIX filter is much cheaper than the Mopar and seems to have a similar construction but is much thicker. Assuming the filter media is the same, the WIX should in theory filter and breathe better (more surface area) - but I am no expert so.

Wix 42725 made in China
Wix was known for its American made quality and now at least some of their products are made in China. I'm not sure how this will effect quality but it is a concern. I bought this product for a 2016 Ram 1500 5.7

Fits my 2014 Ram 1500 3.6 perfectly!
Fits as good as OEM and seems to be just as good if not better!
