William Morris Strawberry Thief Pattern - Mouse Pad, 8 by 8 inches (mp_219390_1)

Excellent quality--I've had this for four months now and it still looks new--no scratches or marks on the print despite constant daily use. Made of high quality dense but still flexible foam (1/4" thick, which is generous for a mousepad). The edges are rounded as shown and well finished. (Note that the edges do show the black foam, so if you're putting this on a light-colored table it may stand out like a precise black edging--on my black keyboard tray it just blends in.)The print itself is beautiful. A little bit fuzzy--not the sharpest image like we're used to seeing on innumerable digital retina screens and HD prints--but in my experience pretty normal for mousepads and it doesn't look bad. (IMO it works well with the old-timey, tapestryish effect native to all Morris designs.)The colors are pretty true to what I saw on screen, maybe a little less high-contrast: olive-green vines with a bit of gold; browns, pinky tans and beiges on the birds; soft pale blue foliage accents; and a bright (but not weird-looking) cherry red on the strawberries. The lightest areas are ecru rather than stark white, and the ground is a dark black-blue-green (most people would read this as just "black" but I paint and am a color nut).I dislike mousepads as a rule but needed one for work--if I need one for home, I'll buy this again!
