I have a 35” waist and originally ordered a (M)edium for 34” and thought the elastic waistband would stretch enough to fit.....Unfortunately, that was not the case!.....I sent the shorts back and re-ordered a (L)arge and was a perfect fit!....I especially like the polyester/spandex combination which feels really good on your skin. Another good thing about these shorts is that they’re wrinkle-free!....Not like the 100% cotton shorts that look all wrinkled when you take them out of the dryer....Last but not least, order one size up if you’re in between sizes. I’m definitely going to buy more of these,

These are actually decent shorts but there are two large problems for me1. The cargo pockets go down all the way to the bottom seam of the short. This makes items in them sit so far down its very hard to reach them and at least for me the pockets are unusable2. The waist elastic is too soft making the short too loose on the waist.

I am 5'7" weigh 142 lb, 32' waist. I think they would fit well from 28 to 33". The fit is perfect. Very intelligent design. All pockets open and close with zippers, using one hand only. Farewell velcro, I'm not going to miss you. The cargo pockets are big enough to hold a Kindle. The cargo pockets sit well below the upper pockets and are on the sides rather the front of the pants. Result: pocket loads are not bunched up one on top of the other. And the rocks I carry in the cargo pockets don't bang against my legs.What's not to like?

I don't usually take the time to write a product review, but I'm making an exception. These shorts are very well made. They're light, and fit my bod just right. But, most of all, they really do feel great! Kind of like putting on a nice pair of leather gloves that just seem to fit your hand perfectly. And, after washing, I put them in the sun on the back deck to dry. Wow, do they ever dry quickly! I hope you're as happy with these shorts as I am. I think I'm going to buy another pair.

I wear a size 38, and the XXL was just right. A little stretch made into the waist made them very comfortable. I wanted zippered pockets, and it was basically unavailable anywhere until I found these. I bought four more pair all different colors after the first one fit so well. Five pairs will last me for years since I won't wear them in the winter. Like I said, these were hard to find with the zippered pockets, so I'm very pleased

Ok so they get one star because of all the pockets, but i am seriously disappointed in the sizing and fitting. First off they are smaller than expected. Second the crotch is to long. You would think if they were tight around the waste that the crotch would be so long. But you look like a penguin wearing these unless you pull them up to your chest, but then they looks even funnier.

These are great short for the money I like the cargo pockets to carry things like my phone yet they do bulge out like military style cargo pockets. I had my wife sew a loop pocket inside the right cargo pocket so my phone would sit up right, easier to grab and put away plus without the inside pocket the phone budged against the front and back sides of the pocket. This is my second pair very happy. I wear size large.

What's wrong: fly zipper isn't long enough. You have to grab your junk and pull it up and out to relieve yourself. If you are big, you may have to lower your shorts to reach inside. Zippers on back pockets will cut your leather car seats and may catch on fabric seats.What's good: lightweight, comfortable, sizing is correct.
