Easy to fit but included wiring is a bit short

So I bought this to replace the 12V DC adapter on my Yamaha MT10 and my god it works amazingly. I plugged in my Samsung s21 Ultra and it read super fast charging. The Lighting around the outside is great and is animated as the device charges etc. Overall, really happy with it and even more happy that it truly is a rapid charger with the USB-C outlet.

The media could not be loaded.  I decided to build myself a battery box to charge small home devices like iPads and Phones. As part of this project i needed a USB C/A 12v input port. When i came across this product i decided to order it over others due to the fact it has a 12v battery voltage meter built in.Installation of the device was super easy, i used a step drill to make the relevant sized hole and then inserted it into my custom made battery box (which incidentally is a cheap small tool caddy). Wiring the device was also very easy, one negative and one positive attachment, the F type connector leads are included with the device - the positive is fused at 10amps.The device much be manually switched on via a small button on the device itself. I really liked this function as i don't want the sockets to be live all the time. Pressing the button once the LED ring springs to life and shows you the current battery voltage. This appeared to be pretty accurate when measured against my normal battery monitor. Plugging in a USB C cable and connecting to my Samsung S22 Ultra resulted in my phone displaying 'super fast charging' this is exactly what i wanted and it worked great! However... the battery voltage led then started to animate - it no longer showed me the voltage but a continuous circling of the led lights whilst drawing power. I really wanted this device to constantly show me the voltage rather than an animation. The lights are also fairly bright and the constant flashing is definitely a distraction. If you were using this within a car or motorcycle at night it would be super distracting. I have included a short video review to demonstrate this. I have also included a picture of my USB testing device which shows Volts/Amps/Watts going into an iPad Air from the USB C port of this device.In summary i really like this product - i just wish it continued to show the voltage rather than the charging animations. It delivers a good amount of power and has a marine grade waterproof cover and seal.Would i recommend it? I would but beware of the animation if using at night time in a vehicle.I hope that you found my review helpful.

Everything about this product is very nice. I have only one complaint the length of the wires is about 60cm which just isn't anywhere near long enough to fit on a motorbike. Also the wire gauge is a little on the thin side for my liking but it does work. I had to lengthen the wires which is no hassle but really shouldn't be needed

I wanted a 12V usb for fast charging and this has definitely lived up to my expectations. Absolutely love it and I now have fast charging on the go in my vehicle. Would definitely recommend to others and this is a simple to fit if you know what your doing. 5 stars from my side 👍

Pointless led lights, samsung galaxy shows charge port error when plugged in

Had to return the first one that I was sent. First one didn't read voltage, always pegged 14.6 volt with the LED high voltage light lit even with only about 9 volts into it with a desktop power supply. Second one works fine. Reads voltage well enough (see pictures). Approx .6 amp draw on charge, .02 amp idle. Ended up 3d printing a collar to give it more purchase. Plenty of room on the charger threads for whatever you're putting it in. Yes, I'd buy again. Yes, I'd recommend to a friend.
