Used it to drill my walls for a shelf. Worked well.

Simple and straightforward. Does the job well.

Make drilling into the external wall so much easier and with much less effort and most impressively was the hole drilled is the correct size and not 10x bigger at the start.

Reviewed March 2021:Been using these to fix a wooden frame to walls made of redbrick and also Cotswold stone, plus a couple of anchor points into a concrete floor, so I've given them a fair workout.They have help up well, being able to deal with all I needed. A wise person once told me, and its been proven by previous experience, that the quality drill bits are important, and heat is the biggest factor in wearing out the tips.It is important to remove dust build up from any masonry drill. So stopping, pulling the bit (and therefore dust) out of the hole, perhaps blowing the dust clear, will really extend the life of a decent bit.I bought a couple of new bits for my project, think I drilled about 40 holes in total, all with the same bit, and there is still some life left in it.I"ve tended by buy Bosch bits because I've had good experiences with them in the past, previously I've used the 'pro range', that has the blue paint in the recesses, but these are equally as good.I'd buy them again.

A few quid for a nice drill bit that works well. The Bosch CYL-3 Concrete Masonry Drill offers a long lasting performance when drilling concrete. From the highly durable carbide blend developed by Bosch themselves.I went to work right away. I have to say, it struggled with the concrete when i used a hammer drill. But when I switched to a proper SDS drill this was the difference. Straight into the concrete. I drilled 16 holes in a concrete bed and it's still sharp. So it's going well. Pretty pleased with the outcome.

The pictures imply this is a long drill bit. It’s not. The measurements are correct but the pictures aren’t.

What had been a difficult job hanging kitchen units on a very hard surface became a breeze using these bits. They really made a massive difference and turned a nightmare job into a pleasure. Seriously.
