Absolute trash. The glasses that came with my laser are better quality. I got these because I wanted to block light from coming in underneath the lenses, but when the plastic barrier disconnects from the frame, that defeats the purpose. As far as the OD5? Blocks none of the beam from the 445nm laser, but the OD5 glasses that came with it block all of it.

I use these with a powerful UV flashlight. They work rather well. Unseemly things glow, and I avoid cataracts.

These are way superior to the junk that came with my Ortur laser. The difference is night and day. They didn't fit over my Rx glasses but don't despair as they offer a pair that does. They are both 5 star.

If using a high powered blue burning laser these safety glasses are so efficient at blocking the entire spectrum that almost no ambient light from the beam is visible, making focussing on for close up etching and burning without any dmage at all to your eyes. What you see is a faint, but definate dull white beam shape that you can then focus to the sharpest point. Without these glasses the blue light is so intense that you certainly begin getting permanent damage to your eyes and cannot make out how fine the laser point actually is. The shielding around the frames are molded fairly decent quality. Not exactly top of the line quality, but efficient at blocking peripheral angled light from coming in. The glasses that came with my burning laser or junk compared to this. While only being about 15 to 20% efficient at blocking out dangerous light from that blue laser. They were junk so I threw them away and ordered these and highly recommend to anyone using blue lasers of any power.
