Q: When left on does the fan also shut off when it reaches temperature

The fan has a thermostat which, when switched on, keeps it at a constant temperature. You can set the temperature and it will stay at that temp until switched off. We find this fan to be very efficient and would recommend it.

Q: Can it be used outside in a gazebo

it's a fan heater with oscillation, it can technically work out doors but don't assume it will be magnificent. The fan is not strong to carry hot wind far, again it's not the purpose of this device

Every time you unplugged the heater it will disconnect itself from the previous functional settings By reconnecting the heater to the power supply One way or the other it will show that it has power supply connected to it but it will not start heating function or cold function By itself you will need to reset it to the desired heating and timing every time and I think that is maybe done for safety.
