Disappointing
Didn’t like it as much as I thought I would. I bought it to help with cribbing, and thought it would be the least restrictive for my horse to graze, but it wasn’t. Also it left rub marks along the bottom of his jaw in just two days. Really disappointed.

Okay
I thought it would be softer. Easy for my horse to rub of on trees.

Magic for my laminitic mare
Like the other reviewer, I was surprised this was harder than expected, but is working like a dream on my mare. She can't or hasn't rubbed it off (though my gelding gets out of this and every other muzzle), and it keeps her busy without her being able to grind off the bottom like she has on the other nylon/rubber muzzles. She also was able to cram tall grass into the nylon web muzzles and get too much grass. With this one, she can't and seems completely content even when wearing it for hours. It's rubbing her just a bit under her jawline but so far not enough to be a problem. It's also very well padded behind the ears, and has very strong breakaway velcro -- something I worry about with other muzzles since my worst nightmare is to find her out grazing with the muzzle torn off, and not have a clue how long she's been at the grass. I've recommended this muzzle to others and will continue to do so. Very happy to have a non-nylon/rubber muzzle option!

Comfortable and effective
Do not like velcro fastenings. Makes it easy for horse to get rid of it. I like the bucket part as I think the horse will not be able to wreck it as she can the canvas type. All muzzles should be attached to a proper headcollar with buckle fastening. Also think the bucket more hygenic than the other kind and probably nicer for the horse to wear.

does the job but rubs badly
It's good quality but it needs padding and fleece around the top of the muzzle part as it rubs really badly.

Disappointing for the money.
Rubbed my horse under the jaw so not recommended for cob type face.

Well made good quality
Good quality for price. Quite hard plastic though, I had hoped it would be softer.
