Now, i saw reviews saying the lid didn't fit. After testing mine out, i discovered that it has to be put on a certain way. It's like if u made your own pottery, the lid has to lay how you cut it from the jar. So, sometimes all u have to do is turn it a little til it fits. As far as the filter goes, I'm happy! My momma used old Folgers coffee containers Lol I never knew there were actual grease filtering jars until Amazon told me there was LoL So i made sure to order mine to be here in time for her visit. I'm movin on up in life 😅 I love my boujee grease filtering container. Thanks Amazon for recommending it. Also makes me realize how much bacon we eat 😳

Larger and nicer than the pictures indicate. Received yesterday and the box from Brink was packaged/padded very well. Amazon dropped the ball because the shipping box they used had no additional padding so the smaller box got bumped around quite a bit. I poured my grease over the included screen and it captured the particles really well. Screen was easy to clean. I also wish the lid/jar had a little bit better seal. It is not a problem for the jar or the grease inside but just a personal preference. I think I will try using a rubber band around the jar mouth and see what happens. More colors to pick from would also be nice. Looks nice around the stove next to the old crock I use to store my utensils. I normally keep my grease in the fridge so in it goes. If you are on the fence about this I say get off and order one!

I ordered this as a present for Christmas and took it out of the box to check it out. It had a chip on the lid but was so cute! I contacted the seller and got an exchange so quickly!! The new one is perfect. They are packaged really well. It looks very classy. I personally hate dealing with bacon grease but my husband will love it. No more random containers of grease on the counter. Just go ahead and order it!

A bacon grease canister is essential in the south. This one does a great job and it’s cute sitting out on my counter. The mesh strainer is a little too “strainey”. The holes in the strainer are tiny so it takes forever to pour the grease into the canister unless it’s super hot and I’m scared to pour it when it’s that hot. Otherwise it’s perfect. Highly recommend

My husband loves to save the bacon grease to use for all kinds of cooking. Our old grease holder was not that great looking so when we renovated our kitchen I decided to find a new one that would look nicer. This one certainly is worthy of counter space.The only think I wish were different is to have a silicone gasket on the lid to make it not rattle as you top the canister. I hope it will not chip or crack because there is nothing to cushion where the lid sits.

My husband was always collecting bacon grease in an old glass jar and leaving it on the counter next to the stove. I got this for both of us. I love how pretty it looks when you leave it out, and he loves how functional it is. It’s a great size (easy to pour into), and the screen keeps the lard pure if you like cooking with it later. I usually quickly wash the filter screen after use—very easy. Love this!!

I bought two of these as gifts and they were a big hit. It's super cute, so it looks great on the counter, yet also so useful and practical. The people I gave it to loved the high quality of the mesh strainer inside. I'll be making this one of my go-to gift items for the bacon lovers in my life.
