POSRUS Antiglare Touch Screen Protector for Wacom Cintiq 12WX 12.1"

After spending what I did on my Cintiq, it was certainly a no-brainer to get this screen protector for it. It covers the display portion of the screen completely, with about 1/2" overlap onto the black border area of the screen. there is about 1/4"of unprotected area on all sides, but as it is the black border area of the screen, it really makes no difference to me. I was able to apply the film without any major problems. There are a few places on the edges where a piece of dust or small bubble got trapped, and one corner is not stuck down 100%, but it's really not a big deal when you consider the benefit of having the screen protected from scratches. Additionally, this is the only company I could find that makes a screen protector for this model of Cintiq, so if you want one you really don't have another option.

I got this for my ex, since he had acquired a cintiq. However, the screen protector is sub par, at best. A LOT of bubbles just from him trying to put on the screen protector alone - and my ex had dealt with screen protectors a LOT in the past. I have dealt with them myself too, and helping him reapply this to his cintiq was literally a two man job. It was no wonder he had trouble with having bubbles, the thing is really bad at trying to even prevent that when being applied. Needless to say, I gave this two stars because after about 30 minutes of having him tug on the screen protector to put it on, and me having two cards with BOTH hands trying to smooth out all of the bubbles, and having to instruct him to pull it back up and then down again (because these bubbles were so difficult that the cards were hardly helping it, just at most being able to tightly pull down the protector so that bubbles wouldn't have the chance to form) - after FINALLY getting the desired result, despite some stuff from underneath the screen protector that we couldn't get rid of, my ex was a LOT happier with the result of our hard work.So since my ex is happy with how the screen protector is, when it WORKS, and isn't having a bunch of bubbles, the extent to which I am negative about this product is, I don't like it. I do hate that it was actually a two man job though. My ex being pleased with the result of me helping him reapply this damn thing is what kept this at 2 stars.

I decided to edit my original review of this product because there's been improvements since I originally purchased my first one. The package i originally received came with no real instructions, no cloth and no piece to help smooth out the bubbles, so when i installed it, it had many issues. After around 3 years of excessive use I decided to replace the screen cover again with a Posrus screen protector (Primarily because this is the only screen protector for the Cintiq 12wx on amazon.)and was pleasantly surprised to find not only did it come with detailed instructions and the other items previously mentioned, but also a URL for a youtube video on proper installation just in case it's needed. This installation was considerably smoother and came out much nicer. So thank you very much for improving your product Posrus, I will definitely be purchasing this again in the future when i require another replacement.

monitor resolution turns down a bit, it's gets a bit unfocused. You get use to that but it willl probably damage my long-term vision.

I'm not sure how people are applying this cover that they're having bubble and sizing issues, because it went on just fine for me and it more than covers the actual screen part of the cintiq.There's only one small bubble where a bit of dust made it back onto the screen after cleaning and before applying, and it's so small and off to the side that it doesn't even distract. That's not the cover's fault, every screen cover I've ever put on anything has done that.The only things I can think of are that folks expect it to cover the entire black, beveled area that borders the screen. It doesn't do that, true, but it covers the actual rectangular screen with plenty of room to spare. And if you follow the directions and apply a protector slowly as you peel off the bottom plastic, this one doesn't have undue bubble issues. I also don't see glare issues unless someone doesn't peel off the top layer.When this one eventually wears out, I plan to buy another one. Five stars.

The claims of no air bubbles with this product are a complete lie. First thing I noticed were all the air bubbles. The second thing was the glare. All it did was make it bigger, with slightly less intensity.The air bubbles create little grey spots all over the screen that are worse than the glare. At least with the glare I can move the screen to get rid of it. The bubbles don't go away. Not even when trying to push them out.

I'm a fulltime freelance artist and I've bought this screen protector twice now; overall I'm really happy with it. It fits my cintiq 12wx screen perfectly, and if you use the credit card trick (google it, you'll thank me later) getting out bubbles is super easy. I use my tablet 5-7 days a week, and the screen protector lasts a little over a year before the drawing area becomes cloudy and I need to replace it.When you first apply it the surface may feel weird to draw on for a day or so, I think there is a film on it (or something) from the factory. Once that wears off it's super nice to draw on, similar to paper with no wear on the pen nib. And you can't beat the price!

Even though it says its for Cintiq 12WX, it was not even the right size.It is at best 11". I had to leave the country the next day so didn't even got the chance to return it.If want to say its for certain model, at least get the size right.Very disappointed.
