I bought this as a gift and he hasn't been able to try it yet. It looks like it should help him a lot when he harvests pomegranates in the fall.

Easy to use. I like it for picking off the ground and using a ladder. It does get heavy when close to full.

We have apples, lemons, and oranges among other larger fruit that we harvest from time to time. I used to use a belt-based bag, but it would fill quickly and get rather heavy on the waist, and the belt had to be taken off to empty.This picking bag is much larger, and because the weight of the bag rides on your shoulders it is easier to carry than the smaller bag. Because of the larger size, you have more time picking before returning to empty.The shoulder straps are quite comfortable, although I admit I had my doubts since they are not padded. On my first outing with the bag I picked a three-quarter full bag of lemons and was hardly aware of it as weight.If you are of average size the bag can be adjusted to the opening is a little higher or a little lower on your body, I liked having it just at the level of my sternum. It fit me well even though I had a little less play than others as I am 6‘4“ tall and no longer the string being I was 40 years ago.Emptying the bag takes a little practice, although again it works as advertised. When you unhook the bottom and let the fruit out, it can be a little hard to hold onto the bag before the fruit goes tumbling away. Ideally, set the bottom of the bag onto the surface of something you’re going to empty into, unclip and then stand up straight and the bag will empty into the container without any trouble.Can’t speak strictly to durability, as I’ve only given it a test run, but it seems sturdy and well-made and I will certainly update this if that proves to be otherwise.

We got a small orange (mandarin farm) a few years ago with about 100 trees. This is the first year we have picked the fruit ourselves and decided to get these fruit bags. They seem to be mostly well designed with nylon straps. The clasps and rings for the release feel very very sturdy. The rings at the top for the straps are not so sturdy and always get twisted but they don't hurt the functionality of the bag. They seem to be decent material. Some words of caution: fully loaded (depending on fruit) can be over 25kg or 55lbs which puts lots of pressure on your lower back, therefor it is maybe good not to fill all the way up but if you do, try to minimize the distance you need to walk before unloading the bag as you are also kneeing the fruit while walking. also dont try to lift the lip or the bottom of the bag while walking as it might cause the fruit to drop out the bottom. Overall, for the price, I think the quality is very good.

As configured the bag hun too low especially when full of apples. I use it when picking apples from our 3 trees. I retrofitted the bag with additional clips to shorten up the bag. Very well made

I love this product!!! It was a game changer for me when harvesting my summer vegetables. Great for corn, cucumbers, squash & okra. This product is well made and has a comfortable design. I will be buying a few more!

It was soaked inside a sealed bag and the metal latches are corroded

The item was as described. I can't wait to pick our Persimmon tree in the Fall.
