Divine Warrior: A Samurai Prodigy Saga Paperback – December 7, 2013

This was a very good read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would love to know if there are plans to continue the story.

It was a good read and I enjoyed this book quite a bit. As with most self published works the editing was lacking and in some places it stood out with technical issues, spelling etc... For the most part the story more than made up for the technical issues, but editing is much more than spelling and grammar, the author needed some guidance from an experienced editor. For example the author insisted on using "crimson" for every reference to blood (crimson on his hands, dripping in crimson...) and he needed someone to tell him it was a bit much. I made it a point halfway throughout the book to look for blood or bloody and it was always crimson, it got old but was amusing.Even though there are shortcoming, it was a good read and I'll be happy to buy the next book to continue the story.Tighten up the editing and tone back on some of the redundant phrases and it would be a 5 star read for me.

This is a well told story and I recommend it to any fan of the samurai. The only thing bad I have to say is that it could have been better edited, this is a self published title though so it's forgivable and never distracts from the story. This next in the series is due in December so pick it now.

Excellent read. Within the first few paragraphs the author makes you feel like you're on the boat listening to the stories unfold right in front of you. I have to tip my hat to the creativity, "on the edge of your seat" descriptive battle scenes, and the tremendous knowledge on the society taking place in the book. I couldn't flip through the pages on my iPhone fast enough! I will definitely refer my friends and family to this read and you cannot beat the price.

This is an excellent story and I enjoyed it so much I read it in two days, however there are several editing issues , with misspelled words or wrong or missing words in a sentence.

Good book. It had editorial errors that should have been worked out. But the errors don't take away from a very good and interesting story. I went looking for the next book as soon as I finished it.

Mr Kathigen certainly has great talent for writing an exciting story, forming believable characters and holding your interest for days on end.I would gladly proof-read the next one to avoid the spelling and sometimes grammar details. How many times was the word "crimson" used? that was a weird hang-up.How soon can we have more please? And it is worth a lot more than the advertised price subject to proof reading/editing.More please.

Page turning action from start to finish. The depth and feeling embedded in this story makes you feel that you are part of it all.Well worth the read!

I felt apart of the true samurai spirit. Understanding more of their rich culture and tradition. Plenty of action and emotion. Very well written
