DON’T BUY THE BLUE COLOR
See photo! I bought the “Ceramic Blue” color (package of 4) three years ago. Great color for ocean-themed night light, and long-lasting! Now using the 4th and last bulb from that package, so I ordered another of the exact same “Buy it again” package of bulbs. However, although the listing picture still looks the same, I received instead a small envelope with 4 loose bulbs inside, very dark in color, and cheaply made. (Steaks of filament light shine through scratch-shaped gaps in the color coating!!) Other people with recent reviews seem happy with different colors of bulbs, but I noticed another 1-star review concerning this same wrong blue color (with scratches) that was posted on 5/14/20, just 6 days before my recent purchase. I have initiated a return for this item. Maybe the other colors are still O.K.?!???

Wonderful! Didn't even want to give this one star
I am so upset over these bulbs. First they are to expensive especially not being GE or other name brand but I was decorating and in a rush .. Second I just got these last week for Halloween pumpkins 2 already burned out , 2 out of the 4 . Will never buy these again . Not worth shipping back. Live and learn . Buy bulb it lasts 7 days . Wonderful! Didn't even want to give this one star !!

I wanted red light bulbs for a night light because I read about a study done at Harvard that found red light is less disruptive to melatonin production when you're sleeping. I have a lot of trouble sleeping and I need a little light at night but I was all in favor of anything that might improve my sleep a bit. The red light really does seem to help, strange as it may sound.

In my experience, orange night lights help one navigate, and then get (back) to sleep.
I use these bulbs in a night light for the bathroom, and they work great. The amber light is healthier, from what I hear, re not stimulating the pineal gland in the middle of the night. (Blue light at night has been associated with increased susceptibility to breast cancer, not to mention insomnia.) Pricey, yes, but then the last packet I bought was 2 years ago. Worth it to me to be able to navigate at night and then get right to sleep.

Best, dim, nightlight light to date. Could be even less bright.
Out of ALL the nightlight options I have tried this was the best to date. We are two adults no children no elderly. However, I get up a minimum of once a night, often more times than that... never have been a good sleeper. So. I like to have a very small amount of light to navigate my way. We recently moved. Our old house had a GFCI outlet in the bathroom that has the super tiny light on it. That was more than enough light. Well this bathroom isn’t comparable. Not sure the difference? Long story short I wanted a super dim nightlight. I had the nightlight that these bulbs work in and I too the clear ones out and replaced them with these. Still too bright. So I have since applied painters tape to the cover that goes around the bulb. It is much improved, read less bright, looks horrible but it’s not making me feel wide awake at various times during my late night adventures in the house.

Salt night light
I bought a Himalayan salt night light and it just wasn't the orange glow I wanted. I bought these to give the nightlight the look I was hoping for. It worked!

A bit too dim
I ordered the red bulbs for my daughter's night light because red light is supposed to be less disruptive to sleep than blue light. The price is great for the number of bulbs, and they sure as heck are red. I expected them to be a tad bit brighter but the red glass really darkens these bulbs. I had a clear bulb of the same strength in my daughter's bedside lamp before putting this one in. The clear bulb gave her a fair amount of dim light at the head of her bed. The red light barely extends past the edge of her nightstand.

Not super quality
Wanted these to remind me of the retro bulbs my mom used when we were kids that were from when she was a kid—purchased 2 of the packs which each had 8 bulbs. Out of 16 bulbs, 6 of the lights are so crooked on the screw in part that they look ridiculous, and don’t screw it right, so are also probably a safety hazard? While I’ll do love the look and they arrived quickly and all that. This is very disappointing.

Works great in my Himalayan salt lamps.
I bought these for some of our salt lamps at home. It’s gives them a unique green like hue if the salt is pink/peach. The clear salt rocks are obviously more blue toned. They are not very bright so we use them in the smaller ones as the light diffuses better throughout the entire rock.Very beautiful, calming tones and fairly durable. Would recommend this product.

Lasts for very short time
I really liked it... only problem is that it doesn't last... good for maybe a month, then it burns out...definitely not worth buying this!

These are great - the red bulbs are bright enough to keep the kids happy, but don't interrupt the sleep cycle the way that white light does. We bought them about 2 years ago, and have used 3 of the 4 bulbs.
