Prestige MedicalClinical Lite Stethoscope, Stealth, 31 Inch (Pack of 1)

I got this because I needed extra length, the stethoscope I had been using was too short and over the years I’m getting sick of the bending. That extra couple inches to length does help. I also didn’t want to spend another $180 for a stethoscope so I chose what appeared to be a well reviewed one. I’m very pleased with it. I have a Littmann Cardiology III and this, though not quite as good with acoustics, is very good. I have no problem leaving behind the expensive brand name one and will carry this now. Good length, good acoustics for what I do, and don’t care if I need to replace it (as it’s the same price as repairing my littman which had to be done already. No offense to littman, it’s an excellent product, just way overpriced.

At first I had doubts about the integrity of a $20 product, but I have to say I’m thoroughly impressed! It’s flexible and lightweight, sound quality is great. Came with 3 sets of ear pieces so I switched out to my size with ease. Can’t wait to use this.

This stethoscope is as good as any other, and at a reasonable price. Easy auscultation. Comfortable ear pieces. It comes with 2 or 3 replacement ear pieces. The only downfall is that the paint chips easily. This is only a cosmetic issue and does not affect the performance of the product. I would recommend to a friend and would purchase again.

This is a good value stethoscope that I would recommend for owners taking vital signs on horses (or other farm animals). I compared its sound quality to 2 other stethoscopes that cost a good bit more and this was pretty comparable to the more expensive ones. I’m a veterinarian and this is the one that I will keep in my barn 1st aid kit for checking my own horses.

I'm a nursing student and let's be honest, the stethoscopes school provides us are NOT the best. This is a very good stethescooe and for the price, very economic. Love that it's a single barrel which is less bulkier in my pocket and much more light weight. Definitely recommend!

If you want your scope to look nice around your neck, this one will do it for you. Let me say that it does work, I can do BP and hear heart and lung sounds with this scope. With that said its just not put together with the tolerances needed to acheive an air seal at the head. The stem fits loosely in the head. When you turn it to "click" for either the small bell or the diaphram side, it feels sloppy. If you take the tubing off of the head and blow into the stem, air leaks out around the stem regardless of where you have the stem turned, pushed, or pulled.I would love to know how to disassemble the stem, and possibly add some orings or silicone to the stem to attempt to get an airtight seal, but as it is, it will never be as sensitive as it could be.If you were willing to give up the bell, you could probably epoxy the stem in place, and seal up the bell hole to get a sensitive, working diaphram side, but really, it should just work out of the box.

I work in Cardiology and I love this stethoscope. I have owned Littman Cardiology and Littman Lightweight stethoscopes in the past. There are some slight differences in the sound quality but for the price it is hands down a good quality stethoscope. I can hear all of the heart and breath sounds well. I can check blood pressures with ease. Will be purchasing another. Hope this helps.

Let's face it, this is no master cardiology III or other high dollar scope. It does however do the job. This was puchased years ago and still serves as a back up for both myself and the wife. The tubing has lasted and hasn't hardened over the years. The ear pieces did have to be replaced. The bell housing is solid. Other consumables are still holding strong. Not bad for the price so we're happy w/ our backup.
