CNS-1 Pinlock Ready Face Shield

OEM shield as expected, optically no distortion and clips onto helmet perfectly, however be easy cleaning the exterior of the shield as the coating is on the outside and can be damaged relatively easily.I learned the hard way that scrapes that doesn't damage a clear visor could damage the coating, and cleaning wipes with solvents like rubbing alcohol can also mark up the surface. Clean with gentle cleaners and soft cloth and it should last just fine.

It’s a light tint and still leaves good visibility at night.

This is a nice shield - Mellow Smoke is slightly tinted and is fine for daytime or evening riding. I haven't ridden at night with it, but I think it would be fine.

This face shield looked identical to the original. I can’t say it was easy to install but, given that I’m not exactly “Mr. Fix-it”, that is more about me than the product. Besides, removing and replacing the original is not easy. I got it installed and it operates up and down perfectly. If I can do that anyone can. Good product & good value.

These have a picture up that shows a spectra colored sheild however the ad is for a CLEAR.. I REPEAT CLEAR lens.This is very misleading!!!!!!! I am highly frustrated that I did not notice this however, there should clearly be a CLEAR lens on the ad and not the spectra. Worst part is when you look at the reviews the reviews are littered with photo's of people with spectra shield not CLEAR!!! !

I don’t like the dark or mirrored visors. This mellow smoke doesn’t affect the clarity and can easily be worn at night.

Schnell geliefert und in Original Shoei Verpackung. Passt perfekt wie erwartet. Visier hat eine leichte Tönung, was beim GT-Air völlig ausreichend ist da man ja noch die Sonnenblende hat. Versiegelung in Regenbogenfarbe sieht Top aus bei Licheinstrahlung.

Das Visier ist top, es gibt nichts daran auszusetzen. Die Beschreibungen von Amazon sind jedoch nicht korrekt bzw. widersprüchlich. Mal wird erwähnt, dass ein Modell evtl. nicht zugelassen ist, mal nicht. Die Bilder selber sagen auch so gut wie nichts aus, da es vermutlich schwierig ist, da die Visiere je nach Lichtverhältnissen anders aussehen. Es ist trotzdem möglich (siehe mein Bild). Ich bin überzeugt, dass gute Bilder mit verschiedenen Lichtverhältnissen die Verkaufszahlen steigern würden. Beim Auspacken bei dunklen Lichtverhältnissen sieht man durch das Visier hindurch und der Verspiegelungseffekt ist minim. In direktem Licht ist die Spiegelung jedoch sehr deutlich erkennbar. Die Verspiegelung ist hoch (bei Sonneneinstrahlung). Bei einer Kontrolle (in einem Land, wo verspiegelte Visiere verboten sind) kann somit ganz klar etwas beanstandet werden. Ich habe mich für das Visier entschieden, da der Sonnenschutz mit Standartvisier zu niedrig ist. Die Verspiegelung sieht auch sehr cool aus. Wer auf Nummer Sicher gehen will bezüglich Legalität sollte ein dunkleres, nicht-verspiegeltes wählen.

It's obviously very well made and is every bit as solid as the stock visor the helmet came with. However, it's nowhere near as dark as I thought it would be, nor is it as blue as I thought it would be. As it's not all that dark then it's not as reflective from the outside looking in and so it's not quite as cool looking as I thought it would be. Not a huge problem for me as I've I've got internal visor too on my model of Shoei. However, if you're buying this as your only eye protection from bright-sunlight you might be disappointed. In reality it is only as dark as a 'light-smoke' visor at best, with the addition of a slight sapphire tint. It is quite cool looking and it does cut down on bit of glare but it's rather like a fairly weak set of sunglasses. It's suitable for changeable conditions, and wearable in dusk and dawn light but it's not dark enough for strong, low, late summer sunshine though and so if I was you I'd only buy this as long as I had internal flip down shades too.

Das Visier wird in einer Orginal SHOEI Verpackung mit ein- und ausbauanleitung versendet.Die Verarbeitung und die Passform von dem Vesier sind einwandfrei.Die Tönung / Verspiegelung ist sehr dezent weshalb es für mich leider zurück ging.
