Good to review before taking the Written as well
I recently took the ATP written. Many of the new questions (released June 28). on the written exam were covered in this book. Good prep overall.

ASA does a great job with these study books. I'm looking forward to digging into this.

Comprehensive and fully covers the main ATP chapters
A chapter on Weather was too long-winded.

Questions are broad - didn’t get much out of this book
This book may help for the FAA written test but not the FAA Oral in my opinion. (Unless you are doing an ATP oral outside of the airline world using a generic examiner) The Airline ATP oral is much more in depth on company procedures and the plane you will be flying. This book can get you close but it talks about general ideas that may not actually be right based on the plane you will be flying. The other sections are almost useless if you’ve made it to this point unless for a review, as it asks questions on airspace, diagrams, signage that all of us should know by now.

I'm old - I like the paper version
Some prefer quizlet, but my brain likes the written word - highlighted in yellow or pink. All of his oral prep guides are great and portable!I recommend them to all my friends and students.
